I really love this song since the moment when I heard this song for the first time and also this song means something special for me, for a personal reason. there's bootlegs of noel singing it during the BHN tour i believe.. "Noel Gets To The Point", The Point Depot, Dublin, 5th December 1997.

I really love this song, closest thing to gospel oasis will ever get Liam's vocals are amazing, he was totally at his peak. SOTSOG is as close as they get yea Gas Panic is very gospel If you think Giants gospel music, you really haven't heard enough gospel music. Maybe Roll it Over I guess...personally I don't see it

Maybe Roll it Over I guess...personally I don't see it Roll It Over has actual gospel-style singers on it, I suppose. Personally I don't get how you think TGITDS is even remotely gospel?? If they'd ever finished and released Revolution Song (a.k.a. Solve My Mystery), Noel always said that tune would be gospel-sounding.

I like to use the line "Get your shit together, girl" on any female acquaintance I've got. They're usually vaguely irritated.

Well precisely what I was trying to point out, sir (and Jenny) I think that nothing on BHN was even close to gospel, let alone Dirty Shirt. Seriously? SOTSOG sounds the part from start to finish. Even the leftover bits the ended up as b-sides for HC sound it. ANNNNND I've always said that the Cage sounds as though it were from SOTSOG. Imagine if it'd been on SOTSOG??

The end part of Dirty Shirt "Now I see!, And Now I see!" is VERY "praising God Baptist church goespel music". Roll it over is very heavenly very hymn like , and yes there are choirs on it. But the Turning has a choir on it, Let there be Love has what a fake choir on is it goespel music? Have Oasis been making goespel music all these years and we didn't realized it? I don't know maybe its cos we come from different places, but Giants does not hint at Goespel music to me.

Noel wouldn't be having any of this. Roll It Over has a trace of one kind of gospel (choral) and TGITDS is has another (call and response). Above all, it's 99% rock 'n' roll. Nothing more to see here.
