No its stupid, so many people complain on this website that the band doesn't get the pub they deserve. Well newsflash people. If you don't have a song like IOT on the airwaves there is no way its happening with 1 single that's hard rock!!

its not even out in the UK radio's yet---just relax,or is it?.lets hope im outta time and the other following singles gets the proper air play in the US,and things will take care of its self. so all the fans start prompting your radio stations and do everything needed to get the music outhere.just look at what happened to tsotl.even though shock is still getting alot of play---the momentum has cooled a fair bit------live forever.

i have no idea what you guys are talking about, "The Turning" is getting some serious play in NYC over the past week and a half.

seriously,is the turning really the next single in the US.maybe management is still deciding wich song (im outta time or the turning)to release in America.either one has the potential, just as long as either one gets equal amount of air spin as shock.

yup, ever since that one time they played IOT time here in Dallas we haven't heard of it again. The Shock is still getting lots of spins though, about 4 a day.

i think, the truth is, that the man,or few big wigs in America have it in for oasis, otherwise it would obviously be diffrent.oasis has more than what it takes to make damage in the US.hopefully im wrong, and they are just timing when to release wich ever single it is.

maybe they are just depreciating tsotl all the way to 100%,then boom-- iot

Why is this guy acting so surprised by this? It's not as if Oasis singles got major airplay (relative to other mainstream acts) in the past after the BHN years.
Second of all the single is officially released around December so it's not like it will get much right now. In the UK singles hit the radio much earlier than their official release, but in North America I don't think it's that early. TSOTL has only started to get airplay on some stations just a few weeks back.

FFS just relax,, just coz the single is out in the uk soon doesn't mean it will be the same time in the USA..
there is generally no corelation between uk/us with singles... wonderwall didn't take off untill around early febuary1996 when in the Us, yet in the uk it charted on the 11th November 1995!
same can be said about DLBIA and so on

I'm not so sure mate. Look what hap with dbtt. Lyla was the only single in north america! Yet so many people I know love the importance of being idle and say its their fav but canada never received it on the airwaves. So you tell me. IMO would be massive if it gets the airplay.

yeah it was a mistake that the importance of being idle was released only in the UK but at least Let There Be Love was released in america.
and for fucks sake, calm the fuck down. until they make a critically-acclaimed or more commercial-friendly album they're not going to massive in the US. their drop in popularity during the BHN era insured that.

The only song they should def release, in any country as a single, should be "the turning." I think that would be a monster single for the band. I can def see it as a number single/rock song anywhere.

whats going on, its really looking like dbtt, starting off right with the fist single, then zilch.why resign with sony ,if this is going to be the case.whats managing doing?. is it a matter of budget with the record company ,or radioplay personel and big dogs up in wb wanna keep oasis from gaining further momentum.someone get to the source.
