well id the fucker just to try an get it to number 1 above releases that are complete shit.also i think with the remixes,they are doing this to save some top quality,theres been alot of wasted b sides this turn of the century by the band an i feel noel likes people the public to hear em,but were not in 97 anymore where even there bsides were played everywhere

I won't buy it because there aren't new B-Sides on it, but I tell you man, I am fucking sick up to here of people bitching because of the lack of original B-side songs on the new singles.
We've had TWO fucking singles out of all the Oasis releases that don't have B-sides and people bitch....and not just bitch - but get fucking angry??
Wow. That's pretty fucking ungrateful if you ask me. I'll admit that I am disppointed that there aren't new songs on here, but whatever. We've had 14 years of great (sometimes horrible) B-sides that showed a different side to the band, and what "could have been" for albums. It was nice while it lasted.

it's not just two singles that have remixes
oasis' idea of a bonus disc is 7 or so remixes (most of which are shite) and 2 new songs.
Not only that but these remixes are probably going to be supplying the next few singles as b-sides.
It just seems extremely lazy and i understand why people are frustrated. even DBTT had original b-sides for each single. 2 new songs per single if i recall, and 4 singles, coming out to about 8 original songs not on the album. it would be very nice if some new songs worth spinning showed up. people aren't getting their money's worth compared to say the wonderwall single, which is worth as much as any album.

And the remixes are hardly club worthy. I couldn't imagine hearing one of them in a club. |

I am not buying the new singles. This isn't because I am pissed off, but just because it's not worthwhile. It's the same thing about DOYS - not a great album, but I don't bitch and moan at great length. And I listen to it a lot. Keeps me entertained and it's definitely worth the $16 dollars I spent. |

We don't want shitty songs for B-sides either - we want the band to do what they used to do and MAKE AN EFFORT. No one's expecting a Let's All Make Believe or Masterplan on EVERY single, but we'd like a bit more than whatever shitty scraps they can deign to throw us whilst they horde all these supposedly great songs for the next album in three years or so (and some of those not even then). The crappy 2 minute tunes like The Quiet Ones and the remixes are part of the same problem: Oasis have stopped giving a shit about B-sides. If that's how they want it, then fine. But don't get up onstage and moan about your latest single only getting to No.3. |

The lack of Bsides is annoying because:
1) They used to be the main reason to buy oasis singles
2) Noel reckons they have a huge backlog of songs
3) There are 4 songwriters in the group
4) They are now officially the laziest, greediest band out there.

To be fair, the I'm Outta Time remix is alright, and the Falling Down one is a good Chemical Brothers track, it just doesn't do justice to the song itself. The rest are fucking shit, though, and if there are no fan questions about the lack of b-sides in that BBC interview with Noel I will fucking screw.

I will be buying it on cd single and also 7" vinyl. I have every Oasis single to date (some of which are imports, promo's and rare vinyl). I've built my collection up this far, so i might as well carry on.  still lazy robbing bastards though............. |
