Demo < Remix
Thanks for the heads up, mate! I was beginning to miss the demos quite a bit. Oasis demos is usually pretty good. Especially the ones from the Heathen Chemistry days.

the turning version #4 and waiting for the rapture version #2 are amazing takes on great songs so what i would be interested is hearing more of the versions of these songs plus the others on dig out your soul. i'm sure there's a few versions of to be where there's life that sound sick. it would be good to also hear some tunes that noel knows he's not going to use for Oasis album #8 or the solo album and put em out as a bside.

well thank God is not another remix. Another demo could be awesome. I loved the alt versions on the bonus disk. I love that type of music, chill and dreamy.

I think Noel said it on the bonus DVD, I'm not sure, but I defintely heard it somewhere. Anyway, I love when they release demos, it's almost as good as getting new b-sides. Thousand times better than remixes at least.

Why the fuck would anyone pay money for a demo. Oasis are inching towards being sellouts..... You should hear the demo of The Hindu Times and Stop Crying Your Heart Out. It's like to completely different songs. I love demos, and would like them to release as much demos as they can.

I'm pretty sure he was just saying that mate... you really think a song would be like that in the first attempt?? that the drum solo was already in the first version of the song?? no way, they probably done it a lot of times, but compared to the others it required less times....

Fair point. Even if there is one, I think if that's his attitude towards it, it'll never be heard. Let's just hope the demos from DOYS leak eventually like all the rest have.

If I recall correctly he was saying that the song was written and recorded dead fast, so it's basically the demo version we have.

I mean, I like hearing demos too, but actually selling them is wrong. I hate to even suggest this, but Oasis are exploiting you poor fools......

well today is Dec 1. Did anyone download their copy yet, and if anyone did can get a PM Yep. Sounds like a more rougher version of the studio track. The outro is extended a bit, and fortunately, Lennons voice is turned up higher in the mix. It also got a bit more acoustic finger picking in the background, which is really nice.
