It fucking sucks. For a band that prides themselves on continuing the traditions of "albums" and other rituals of yore, it's incredibly disappointing to see absolutely no b-sides other then fucking remixes. Hard to believe that this was the same band who released tunes like Acquiesce and The Masterplan so flippantly as to put them as bsides.

If no one buys IOT it might just make them think twice.
It feels these days like they have become incredibly lazy and are just cashing in through the tours rather than putting out quality tunes.

gotta agree that the recent bsides on the last 2-3 albums have been weak....true testament that they dont even do them live............whereas they DO play the old bsides live
Noels has to stick with this 'writing quickly' he did for a few songs off DOYS
When he writes quick, we get great tunes

"The Quiet Ones" and "Sitting Here in Silence" are just awful. I barely consider them songs. Agree, though - would rather have anything besides already heard remixes. Gotta agree with Pete, all the way.

Does anyone else think that maybe, compared to other bands, Oasis have for the last 14 years treated us more than fairly by giving us all these great B-Sides? So these singles have remixes on them. While that is VERY tragic, I feel lucky that up until this point we've had brilliant B-sides instead of nothing but remixes and radio edits like other bands do. Fucking ingrates!

sitting here in silence, the quiet ones, those are amazing tunes!!!! and I bet not only in my opinion. much much much better than any stupid remix. Oasis are for rock'n'roll people, not the fucking disco dancers!!! Haha, not to get into an opinion war here, but can you really listen to these songs for their duration of a minute and a half and say, "Wooow, that was amazing!" And I say this as someone who finds little fault in Oasis' songs.

Totally agree, amazed at some peoples views on songs ! I love Oasis and many of their songs/b-sides but Pass me down the wine, quiet ones are okay/average songs, not exactly some of the best ever.
The new singles suck as in b-sides but good point raised by someone earlier, Oasis have treated us so well over the years with great b sides (compared to many other bands) so we're totally spoilt, so when crappy/lazy b sides appear we're obviously all quite gutted as its not what we're used to
Still brilliant album, critics/non-oasis fans have shut up, times could be worse

I thonk i'd rather have proper b-side songs, whatever thier quality than remixes TBH, i'm more than sure they could have included songs instead of remixes...

To be honnest with you "the quiet ones" was my favourite track for like 3 weeks or so. Couldn't get enough of it... It's not bout the lenght of the songs mate, it's how the songs fills the album/single and those ones were quite to the point in my opinion. (well it's just my opinion, and that's the thing you can't argue about!) And remixes sucks! Band which is famous for their quality b-sides turned to remixes at the moment their established their own label and can't even be told by some sony twat what to do! what's that all about?

You're right; agree with you on that. Guess it's just something we'll have to put up with now, though.

It's second single that's going to be released with all those stupid remixes rather than putting some top quality b-sides on it!!! One of the reasons oasis are so fucking great is cause of those b-side songs, like whatever, carry us all and so on and on.... wtf they are changing this? at least would put i wanna live in a dream as one of those songs! Wake up, Oasis havent released a single with two top quality b-sides for like 10 years. The Falling Down remix pisses all over 90% of the b-sides off HC and DBTT. And maybe, just maybe, the I'm Outta Time remix will be brilliant too. I'd much rather have a good remix than the likes of Wont Let You Down, Columbia (live), Dont Look Back In Anger (live), Sitting Here In Silence, The Quiet Ones, Thank You For The Good Times, She Is Love and so on and so on..... Agree on that

The new approach sucks. Noel's made a big thing about banging on about how many good songs he's got that could've made it onto DOYS yet they release these crap remixes as B sides? Either he's lost the plot or someone's filling us with bullshit. Going out and buying the new Oasis CD single was great, never knowing what you were gonna get. Now i'm just not bothering.

The Hindu Times was the last single with really good B sides.
Shout it out loud is really overrated on this forum..
