If I was going to commit suicide, I'd rather do it whilst listening to great music like Oasis rather than some emo band.
Still, it looks for us fans that we need to only date partners who "gets" Oasis.

lol yeah, not liking Oasis is no good for the relationship... I had a few where my boyfriends just thought I was insane...now with my boyfriend who I hope to marry one day, he's as crazy about Oasis as me and we're crazy together, haha I agree my whole marriage is because of Oasis! Thank God for my husband, I don't think the average person would get it : As for Oasis being suicide music! Completely the opposite they are ideal for LIVING This album has its moments but NOT anything close to being sad or depressing, Giants was the most depressing album I think they ever put out.

It depends on how long you've been going out and how serious you are... If you just started going out, I'd dump her. If you've been going out for awhile and plan on marrying her and having a family... I'd dump her.

Oasis were the triumph of life. In a musical scene were, since the 70s and until the grunge, rock music was a depressing rant about how life is hard (and with also great things produced, don't get me wrong: Pink Floyd, e.g.), Oasis said "fu*k off, life should be great". As Noel said, Nirvana had a song "I hate myself and I wanna die". Oasis wrote "Live Forever". In a world where everyone was saying "depress yourself, kill your soul, life sucks, pain-pain-pain", Oasis said "F*ck off! Go to a gig with your best mate, enjoy music, think at yourself bigger than you are, get drunk, get stoned (but only to enjoy it), fly, fuck. Life is there to be enjoyed. So enjoy it!". Oasis were the only real SOCIAL phenomenon since the Beatles, because what they did with their music wasn't only great music (and a music that was forgotten, like the love for melody and for the "tune" in rock music), but was the statement of a generation, the same generation who believed in Clinton and Blair after Reagan-Bush sn and Tatcher-Major. Like in 60s, also in the 90s we got screwed up. And if you look at Oasis this way, SOTSOG it's not only the bleak picture of Noel-after-drugs, but also the end of what '90s had been. Funnily enough, while in the 70s rock music tried to be more "intellectual", looking back at the 60s as something naive, 2000 rock music tried to be artistic in its own way (Radiohead, Coldplay). The 90s were a decade of hope and life, and Oasis were the soundtrack back then. Yeah, it was a failure, after all. But hey, it was worth trying, and the soundtrack was the best.
P.S. Sorry for my english, but I had this rant so ready. :b

Dump her. ;D As a girl, I gotta say she has ot like at least tolerate them. The guys at the bar tonighttt were all perverts -- but if they likec Oasis that would make up for their shortcomings. I was at a piano bar and among the requests I put Don't Look Back in Agner. Instead I heard Radiohad - "Creep." And I probably knoew that song better than most. Ah well.
