You're so stupid it's unbelievable.
As it's already been pointed out, Noel never said he WASNT English.
Furthermore, don't you find it interesting his societal likes come from England - Manchester City is an ENGLISH football team, he adores The Stones Roses and The Smiths who are ENGLISH bands, and furthermore, he has all the money a man could ever want, yet he chooses to live in ENGLAND....I see a theme here
If he was truly proud of being Irish, we would see more influences and we would see him even living there. But Noel is smart, and he knows that Ireland and Cork especially, suck.
Noel is English. Nuff said.

Thats a bit harsh seeming he has said on numerous occasions he loves coming over and that hes proud of his Irish roots and the fact both of his parents are Irish. What do Noel & Liam think of America and Americans in general? Oh wait, We all know that already and its not very good. Hahaha. Go eat a small child worth of cake.

FOR THE LAST TIME HE SAID "THERE'S NOT A DROP OF ENGLISH BLOOD IN ME"....meaning he is proud of his Irish roots! Noel also said that England is gone to the dogs with all the stabbings and whatever. FFS just accept he said you sad little man! I'm Irish and I'm proud of it. RANT OVER!!!!!!

i ve met both noel and Liam loads of times in Charlestown,Co.Mayo as im from there. They have a small cottage just outside the town where they stay with thier mum when they visit.. i was visiting home from New York 2 years ago when i bumped into Noel gallagher coming out of a small hardware store in the center of town, his young daughter was with him. he had a new door handle in his hand, said the door on his bathroom in the cottage needed a new one!! Here was my idol,my God,a rock ledgend, on his way home at 1 o'clock in the afternoon,on his way home to fix the bathroom door!!! needless to say,i went to finans pub that night because thats where u get the best pint of guiness and thats where he goes to listen to the great traditional irish music and sit down without being bothered....we fell out of the place about 5 hours later!! what a ledgend!

Ya but you see it's down to the individual, and noel proclaims himself to be irish, just as you proclaim yourself to be englsih. And yes he does have dual citizenship, its on wiki.de Anyway i thought you were armenian Since you're using Wiki, it says on the Oasis page that they are "An English rock band". The guitar wouldn't be as cool either. ye...of course that piece a shit wouldnt look good....but if it had something irish it wouldnt be a fucking tri colours, it would be some kindof crest because as a few different emblems.... By the Way Noel's Guitar was a Sheraton.... hahah.... Anyways I would reckon that if Noel claimed to represent the Irish Back in the 90's it wouldn't have done him any favours with the whole IRA thing still being something not long gone.... Announcing they were Irish wouldnt have proved to be welcomed by the public back then....

You can't mock me on that, because I did it on top of an image found by Googling Noel Gallagher supernova guitar. Nice crack at outdoing me though.

Thank you thank you so much....You have just proved my earlier arguement....The English are in denial about this and theres no denying that....hahaha second......how does ur influences mean anything?....everything u mentioned was from Manchester!.....and that would make sense wouldnt it?....You know?....your from there so youd be influenced by whats on your doorstep?... Something else i must mention is how much Noel seems to mention The Edge from U2 in his interviews as he views himslef as Oasis' edge i believe...........so in conclusion, I have proved yor post complete and utter bullshit.......2-0 to me Slàn Libh

I wasn't attempting to bother you either, that's just how I read it to be honest.
Anyway, Gallagher is an Irish name. But they play English music. Best of both worlds.

Both my parents are American, but I was born and raised in England, so I consider myself English....although in reality I'm BOTH American and English, just like Noel is both Irish and English However, UGHF is proving to be a numpty again because it's more significant the place you were born and raised than your blood line.....Point and case, I'm technically American, but I can't run for President because I wasn't born in the United States. Furthermore, being raised in different parts of the world exposes you to different enviornments and cultures, which render your blood-line meaningless....doesn't matter that you have Irish in your blood if you lived your childhood/most of your life in England. I don't know if Noel has dual citizenship - Ireland and UK - I suspect he does, but if he doesn't have both he obviously has an English passport, and that classifies him as English, too. Carry on being a tool, yer tool. Noel has an English passport? Wow, where did he get that from? He should stick that on eBay

Well, wasn't the Edge born in Bristol or something? That means U2 are English then...
(Wikipedia) - David Howell Evans (born 8 August 1961 in Barking, East London), more widely known by his moniker The Edge, is a musician known best as the guitarist, keyboardist, and main backing vocalist for the Irish rock band U2.
Oh, and whilst I'm at it, Guns & Roses are English as Slash was born in Stoke on Trent, as is Britney Spears who's grandmother is English. Shall we carry on?
No wonder the Irish are trying so desperately to claim Noel and Oasis as their own, U2 and pretty much any other Irish band are wank.

Oh, and while we're at it see Thursday's Daily Star (16/10/08) - "Obviously, if they (England) get to the World Cup final I'd like them to win it. I've been let down so often by England that City are my team" - Noel Gallagher.
The article also states "the 41 year old singer lauched an attack on HIS team"
The words of an Irish football supporter? An Irish Patriot? Don't think so...
The Irish wouldn't give him much to cheer about either...
And from Wikipedia - This is a complete misnomer if you are suggesting that you can be Irish and not born in Ireland. In this instance a person would be of Irish descent, but their nationality is determined by their place of birth. However, you can be Irish and move to another country. Your nationality/status would change, but you would, of course, be from Ireland. Your future children, if any, would not be Irish. This trend of assuming nationality based on descent seems more prevalant in America than anywhere else. --Gerald Davies 11:52, 5 November 2005 (UTC) In which case Noel and Liam are English, as are their children. Get over it.
