I really love the guitar picking, with the effect of just being outside on the street. And I know they commented on it on the DVD as well.
But is it just me, or does it sound similar to Dear Prudence by The Beatles on the White Album? IDK, thats the feeling that I got off listening to it. Any input? Cheers.

it reminds me more of blackbird than dear prudence
i think its fuckn great anyway....in my opinion, the turning is the best tune in this album, it already sounds like a classic...it should be in the set list
and the first riff in waiting for the rapture is exactly the same from the doors, five to one...but just the first one, the rest of the tune has nothing to do with it

love it when we get bits like that...they used to do it more back in the day.....just little melodies playing out songs etc
wish they did it more, gives a great end to a great song

Does anyone think its better than the two untitled tracks on Morning Glory?
I'm still unsure.

That was the very first thing my dad said when I sat him down and forced him to listen to the album. And there's a bit in TNOR that always makes me want to go into Helter Skelter. Deh-deh-deh-deh WHEN I GET TO THE BOTTOM-
