Media Traffic compiles Global Album sales. So Dig Out Your Soul sold 72K last week. This is mainly Japan which was reported earlier on this site by someone else. So its ranked 17th worldwide based on the Japanese sales. It should be number 1 next week once you roll up UK / Europe / US etc.
Hits magazine usually does its US sales projections on Saturday morning. So I should have those numbers tomorrow morning with the national account US sales projections for the week. Will try to post those with the link.
The ITunes #’s are great but the CD really needs to sell at Best Buy and Wal Mart as well to crack the top 5. Fingers crossed…

i think top 5 in the U.S. is very much realistic and within reach, T.I. who released his new album last week will probably sell pretty well this week as well so he'll either remain as #1 or go down to #2, Rise Against will sell a lot too so they'll be up there, then there's the new Michelle Williams album, Jennifer Hudson also in its second week, and then there's OAsis.

it's #13 right now with about 50% of album sales in. They might be wrong becaise its only projections, but i'm kinda worried. Though, Bob Dylan is behind them at #14 and I seriuosly doubt that all the Dylan fans in the world could only muster #14. So, time will tell.

I could give two shits about chart positions and sales. I'll leave that for the band to worry about. The album (cd) is great imo.
