Finally made it to the #1 spot! This would be a great advancement for their place in America. To be able to say they had a #1 record. (I realize this is just for itunes not overall)

Not currently, no. And it was the US itunes chart. I'd put my next five pay checks on it. Check yourself if you don't believe me. In fact, they are #1 and #3.

Went back and checked to be sure. U.S. charts- Oasis, Dig Out Your Soul #1 and #3.

yea try removing the alternative genre specifcation.. again they are #3 and never reached #1.

um the 15 or so posts discussing album chart position? about half the discussions on this board.
