Noel does the beatle-esq "UNCHA" as backing vocals....now that's a bit over the top for me....furthermore, he does it on two songs - Bag it Up and Waiting for the Rapture, which makes it even more excessive. Really, Noel, was that needed? Really? UGH(cha)

When He does that when waiting for the rapture kicks in it just makes the whole moment for me, of course not neccesary - but still fucking genius

I loved it as soon as I heard it - an homage to Hello, Goodbye.

I like it, although I wouldn't have used it on two songs so close together.
Then again, I'm not in Oasis, so f*ck my opinion.

wtf are you talking about? does it bother you that much 10 seconds of backing vocals? I didn't even related that to a beatlesque thing

I don't stop in small things like this

I'm pretty sick and tired of everyone trying to find a reference or a similarity to an existing song. just enjoy the album and stop comparing it to everything

I don't think this album is "Beatle-esque" in any way.
Sure the end of The Turning with Dear Prudence, and the small piano part in I'm Outta Time with A Day in the Life.
Small and insiginificant parts of the songs..
Does anyone really think that Bag it Up, The Turning, Waiting for the Rapture, and The Shock of the Lightning sound like The Beatles?
Other than that what the fuck do you people hear when it comes to The Beatles?

dont' forget the sitar I don't think of The Beatles when I hear a sitar, and that is only one song regardless. That song is an original Oasis song.
