After 3 seconds of soul-searching......DOYS.
Don't get me wrong, DM & WTSMG (and all the rest) are truly great albums, but DOYS tops them all.
And it isn't just new-album euphoria either.

WHAT the fuck - and I'm dead serious. Why have three people voted for DOYS? You are all the same people that would have responded to this question in 2005 picking DBTT and have since changed your minds.
You can't make an objective decision about the new record that quick. You can't.
I am the Oasis fan with no favourite album. I love them all.
DM is perfection - always was and will be
MG - got me into the band and is just a 50-odd minute chune
BHN - classic tunes, but hard to get through when it's foreground music
SOTSOG - groovy and different. Liam's voice is tops and the lyrics are some of Noel's best
HC - a real "summer album" that is bright and fun. short but sweet
DBTT - a great album that is somewhat blahsay, but is consistently quite good
That just leaves DOYS. Which I find to be half-good.
So, I'm voting Heathen Chemistry because I can't believe that nobody else has thus far selected it OR BHN... seriously

However, I disagree here. Every Oasis album is different. SO it's hard to say what's better. SOTSOG, HC, BHN, and DBTT are probably all on the same plane - ie, not MG and DM which are flawless (whatever you want to mean by that)
The only album that is getting more votes is DOYS and that's because it's new. I listen to it twice a day, so I can understand why people think it's fucking tops. It's good, but I am withholding my review for the time being. I'll let you know on New Year's Day

My favorite (at the moment) is "Dig Out Your Soul", yeah, because it's fresh/new but it also gave me buzz that no other Oasis album gave me on first listen. I was in awe and I'm still in awe. It just blew me away!
P.S- I'm not one of the people who said "Don't Believe The Truth" was their best upon it's release. I placed in third along with "Be Here Now"

SOTSOG has a few absolute classics on it - HC has about 3 songs worth listening to - the albums both contain the absolute worst Oasis songs ever, which is why they're not so great...

Definitely Maybe definitely. Before I knew Oasis albums and i just knew their music...My favourite songs were Columbia, Supersonic Cigarettes and alcohol and rock n Roll Star so when i found out, that these were not only on one album but they were accompanied by even better ones!....thats when it hit just how fucking epic Oasis are......
Saying that, a similar thing did happen to me with Morning Glory but it was poppier than DM which really has the young energy "fuck off" kinda sound to it.....
DM is the most inspiring thing i posess
