I'm listening to the bonus tracks from the deluxe box set for the first time right now. Very cool remixes and the alternate version of The Turning with Noel on vocals is very cool. I'm not saying it's better than the regular album version, but it's pretty stellar in its own right and very different.

I love when there are Noel and Liam versions of songs.

the alternate verions of the turning and waiting for the rapture have really ignited my interest in those two songs. the alternate versions are noel and paul 'strangeboy' stacey productions and do sound very much like heathen chem and sotsog (in their sound and production).

They wouldn't have fitted the vibe of the album but they are great songs and prove not only what an exceptional songwriter Noel is, but also the difference to the band's sound that Dave Sardy makes.
