What's not to work there??? I understand when he said that about "keep the dream alive" but Bag It Up??? the song is awesome, but there's no special effects or high notes to sing that couldn't be performed live!! actually is one the studio songs that most resemble a live performance IMO.... wtf....
If they don't play the The Turning I'll be seriously pissed

I'm disappointed but I'd much rather have TT. That tune is gonna be mega live. WTFR will also be heavy as hell if they do it live. The heavy ending on BIU would have been EPIC live though.

They´ve often let us down when it comes to the setlist, so im not surprised. Bag It Up is also close to be my fav song on the new album. Any ideas what might not work, when performing it live?

Few things possibly..
the vocal build-ups/decents (especially at 3.21)
the frequent changes in texture and dynamics
Would be easier to do like a stripped down acoustic version like the 'hobos' did.
Or... it's just one of those songs that really doesn't work live..

cant imagine them not doing it live at some point, how can it be said it didnt work in the set?
If they can fit TBWTL etc into the set, then they can fit BIU which is guitar based etc

oh well. the turning is much better. i can accept you like it better, but bag it up is an amazing song, for me both are great...... bag it up my favorite of the album, i was hoping to hear it live. i don't know how a woman dressed like a bee with a tambourine can play it and oasis cant...  |
