I got my hands on the bonus disk, and listened to The Turning (The Jagz Kooner Remix), and I have to say that while I think The Turning is one of the best songs on the album (IMO) this remix is brilliant....even better than the album version.
It's faster, heavier, and soars. The only thing it lacks is the guitar solo in the middle to make it perfect.
Anyone else think the same thing??

The alternate waiting for the rapture, boy with the blues, and I believe in all are good though! . . . come back with that ball . . . but only roll it around for those 3 tunes.

i think that the falling down remix is fresh and on par with the studio recording but none of the other remixes really cut it... on the jagz kooner ones the soul of the songs are ripped out and the death in vegas one has potential but sounds far too cheesy.
on another note, boy with the blues and i believe in all are good tunes (should have been shock of the lightning bsides).. and has anyone noticed that lord don't slow me down sounds more rugged both the sound and noel's vocals?

I always thought the bonus disc . . . contained all the planned B-sides?
Am I wrong? . . . .we have more tunes in store for us ?!!?
Quite exciting news.

I completely agree. I prefer the original version of The Turning.

Beatle Matt: I agree w/ your original post. although not sure if its better but love the drums, energy etc.! I think the Liam version of LDSMD should have gone on as he gives it a great sorta dirty(eyeball Tickler) vocal!

This is my fave track off the album, unfortunately WBros. cant get it together and send my SuperD boxset yet. I love the song, and the thought of Noel doing vox on it.....woah, can't wait.
