of course the bubble's burst. everyone's got a whole new bunch of songs to play with for a while now. give it a month and people will rediscover it again.

If TSOTL had not been heard until the leak date, we would all be going nuts about it

Once again, it just shows you how strong the album is. TSOTL is a fantastic song, but the fact that we're all pre-occupied with the other gems on the album demonstrates how good the album really is.

altho I dont listen to em as much anymore, I still think FD and TSOTL are two of the strongest tracks on the album. They're both top 5 imo.
I think they'll both go down as two of the best tracks on the album, altho it'll prolly be a little after the release date of the album for people to reach that conclusion.

And it's #13 on the Alternative airplay chart according to USA Today (which is up from the week before). So it's still getting airplay here in the U.S. But it makes sense that it's less talked about here, when there is a whole new album to discuss. Since I haven't heard the album yet, I'm still OK with listening to TSOTL!

I've only heard that tune along with Falling Down which i dl'ed off iTunes and Bag it Up, i just couldn't resist plus it was on youtube.

Disagree - the strength of the other tunes just makes TSOTL seem all the more average. The verses aside this tune does nowt for me anymore, it's gotten old very quickly. The public have not reacted to it very well (certainly not in a Lyla or TIOBI sense), and I don't see it maintaining much momentum on the radio or TV. How they picked it as the first single when they had The Turning just sitting there is beyond me.

In what way has it not been well received, its the best received Oasis song in a long long time.....most people I know think its class...its well requested and getting airplay in the US, its rated well on youtube, its had great reviews, even negative ones are having to admit its quite good...and everytime I hear it on the radio the DJ comments how good it is
