1- 3.03 minutes intro I'm Outta Time, when Liam sings the title of the song for the 3rd time. That chord/melody change. Amazing.
2- 1.00 minutes into Bag it Up. The first time 'Someone tell me i'm dreaming' comes in. Liam's voice & the melody...
3- The intro of To Be Where There's Life. Play it LOUD!
4- 1.37 minutes into (Get Off Your) High Horse Lady, when that huge drum beat kick in. Beyond cool.
5- 3.21 minutes into I'm Outta Time when Lennon kicks in (weird sentence, lol). Goosebumps.
Special mention goes out to the outro of Waiting For The Rapture. On which my girlfriend stripped last nite ;-) Baby take off your clothes. U can leave our hat on.

Special mention goes out to the outro of Waiting For The Rapture. On which my girlfriend stripped last nite. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: the real reason for the existence of this thread. Folks - a round of applause for DutchGallagher, if you will. Nonetheless: 1) The Nature Of Reality - 0:25. 2) Falling Down - 3:08. 3) The Turning - 1:10. 4) Soldier On - 0:24. 5) The Shock Of The Lightning - 0:16.

there is already a thread to discuss what you like about the album.. please use that..
oh wait.. there is only allowed one thread for negative shit, but we can suck the album off in as many threads as we want... thats right.

just pointing out how rediculous it is to have a forum for the album and allow TWO threads on the album.. this forum is the ONE thread for the album.. you should be able to post anything ON the album.

you should be able to post anything ON the album. And that's how you end up with 47 separate threads on Waiting For The Rapture.

you should be able to post anything ON the album. And that's how you end up with 47 separate threads on Waiting For The Rapture. which is perfectly fine, thats what a forum is for. i would much rather read 47 titles on waiting for the rapture and pic and chose which one i want to read, then to have to sift through 20 pages of nonsense in 1 post on the song. i think anyone would agree with that. its like saying this is an oasis forum "use this post if you like oasis and use this post if you don't, anything about liam in this post, etc" - absurd.

Magic moments... cool idea for a thread.
05) How Liam's voice echoes on the word Shock in the Shock Of The Lightening, and in general, the messed up chords the song is built around. Noel's chords on this record are awesome. 04) The guitar picking on I'm Outta Time, unexpected. Nice. 03) The outro for Bag It Up.. ominous. Spooky. 02) The chorus in The Turning.. it's fucking sick. The chord he hits under the melody is so perfect and unexpected. "Shake your ragdoll baby". 01) ALL of Waiting On The Rapture.. that song IS magic. Class lyrics from Noel too. The sound with the tape echo is so awesome. How on the last chorus "I'm wired" he drops down on the second note instead of going up like he usually does. The Lennon guitar fills.

Magic Moments off the top of my head.
Falling Down- "Please Don't Waste My Time" with the hiss of the symbols going through it.
The Shock- One minute in when th guitar riff really starts. + When the bass changes in the chorus.
The Turning- Guitar solo (all of it) + The drums at the start along with when the piano comes in.
Soldier On- When Liam comes in + When the bass goes up in the verses.
I'm Outta Time- The chorus.

Bag it up - Liam singing "someone tell me I'm dreaming" sends shivers down my spine
Rapture - second chorus, Noel singing''merrygorouound"
Turning - choir in the chorus...wow.
Outta time - end of the verse, Liam singing "It's getting high to fly". It does have a meaning.
Falling down - last, strongest chorus.
and there' many, many more.

1. bag it up- the outro.
2.I'm outta time - the chorus. man, the melody is just unforgettable! once heard, it just sticks in your head.
3.To be where there is life - "Dig out your SOOOOUUUULL!!"
4. Nature of Reality - the short lead guitar part in the middle of the song
5. Soldier on - the long outro of the song. I dunno why I love it, but there is something special about this song.

that's fuckin hard.... but here it goes...
1- when Liam starts singing The Turning, i mean i thought it would be such a hardcore song and he starts this beautiful melody 2- when the chorus of The turning kick in and shows that it is a hardcore song indeed 3- when Noel sings "to save me for the rapture"... fuckin rock 4- "it's getting hard to flyyyyyyy" - gave me goosebumps all over 5- "dig out your sooooooooooooooooooul"
I'should probably mention Falling Down, but itself has about 5 magical moments...
Oh fuck and there's the drum solo in tsotl.... too much magic people

Outta time - end of the verse, Liam singing "It's getting high to fly". It does have a meaning. that fly bit is almost unforgettable in itself, never mind the melody and the rest of the song.

5- "dig out your sooooooooooooooooooul Yeah! It's TBWTL around 3:15 My favorite part of the song by far. I wish they would have used it more, but its so effective becomes it comes out of nowhere.
