I see what you mean, all the years of smoking, drinking really have took their toll though, just listen to him sing Slide Away live now and you can hear how much he struggles.

I completely agree. The pitch in his voice is much higher and cleaner than it's been the past few years. Much kudos to him for having the will to do it!!

He sure as hell sounds 100% better than he did in Atlanta and Nashville on the DBTT tour. If he really has cut back on the smokes, it shows. He sounded mega in Seattle, especially on Champagne Supernova, which has been marginal live now for a while. As the touring progresses, I'm sure his voice will suffer, but come on people, as much as he puts into every song, it's bound to.

I sometimes wonder (and worry) how acquainted Liam is with Autotune in the studio.

I'm worried about him singing I'm Outta Time though.. hopefully he keeps his act together and will sing it properly at gigs. Otherwise it'll just ruin the song.

Sardy cleaned up his voice in production, guys. If you listen close, you can still hear the snarl, but it's been turned way down in the mix.

Part of me hates that....it seems like cheating a bit....but at the same time, it's needed....we want Oasis to continue for another 10 years+ so it's imperative we have studio enhancements to clean up Liam's vocals. It really is sad that he cant perform as well live anymore. But que sera sera.....the lot of you who saw them live in the 90s are VERY lucky.....hell, even those seeing them for the first time this tour (hopefully me included) are lucky. Im sure they're still mega to see live, even with Liam's worse vocals. I will NEVER give up my love for this band. They mean way too much to me for to quit on them because Liam's voice is strained now after 14+ years of singing and smokes. This band is just remarkable.
