I think you're lost. You'll find the Coldplay forum in the "boredom" spectrum of the internet.

To each his opinion but I'm sure many people would disagree. There are at least 4 to 5 very exciting songs IMO DBTT is boring though

I don't think Noel contributed a bad track. I think he's on top form on DOYS.

Heathen Chemistry is by far the worst Oasis album with at least one weak tune by everyone save Gem who only had one tune.

TBH, I'm glad the other members are having a go writting songs. Shows that Oasis isn't just 'Noel Gallagher and the others'. Besides, Liam is fast coming a good songwritter (compare Little James to I'm Outta Time or Songbird then note the difference). Gem's a solid writter. Not amazing, but not dreadful all the same. 'Nature of Reality' is probably Andy's best in Oasis. Reptitive, yeah, but still I would rate it above Keep the Dream Alive which wasn't a bad track either.
Besides, Noel admitted that he needs help with songs now. He was coming fresh out of idea's by the time Andy and Gem came in. I mean, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants although it was solid with some good tunes none of them really made it a stand-out album. Besides, its thanks to them Noels got a whole bunch (so he claims) so that will tide us over for a good long while.

DOYS the worst oasis album imo....or?? try listening a couple more times. TBO i wasn't overwhelmed after the first listen. But this album is definately a grower and im confident that if you would give it more of a chance it'll find its way into your liking. (Don't skip any tracks!)

If Noel is sitting on over 30 unrecorded/unreleased as he claimed recently, surely he can pick the best ones to form the basis of the next album (in, er, 2011? ), unless he is he talking shit as usual. Record Machine and Stop The Clocks are solid tunes.
