Did it scare the shit out of anyone else? I got home from work about midnight and had to listen so I rolled up a nice big L, shut the lights and listened. So I hear the melodica kick in at the end and I figure ok it'll just fade out or something, but instead it sounded like a jet engine landed in my living room. I think it woke my entire apartment building (seriously)
Bizarre ending, but fitting.

Yeah that freaked me out too. BTW I think it's one of the best songs on the album. Great job Liam.

I really liked Soldier On, everyones giving bad opinions about it and I think it's catchy, it could go somewhere else but the way it is, is also just as good, it's nice just to...sing along to "Soooooooldier Oooooooon".

It uses an effect very like what nine inch nails would use. Thats n ot surprisingseeing as Gem produced a Nine inch nails album a few years ago which funnily enough eas very song orientated just like an oasis album with some catchy tunes just like an oasis album probably Gems contribution...So it was probably his idea! article on album gem produced for nine inch nails...scroll down to the Personel section en.wikipedia.org/wiki/With_teeth |

its a great closer..... u cant look at it as a separate song, really its an amazing way to cap off an amazing album My thoughts exactly, I was listening it this morning thinking what a stoned trippy end to the perfect album.....as a radio single it would do nothing, but as an album closer and after what has gone before it is perfect...Liam has done well |
