not me, you'll be the one missing out on the 6th of oct when the album is released in lossless quality... that's they way to listen to this album for the first time  i have been reading some of these threads posted over the last day 'please please i need the link' and 'OMg if i don't get this link i will die' LOLOL very juvenile indeed hehe  |

Yes i'm going to wait till that date without listening to the leak as i'm a real fan. I also wont have sex until i'm 16, i also wont smoke before that age as its illegal.
I'll also never go above 70 mph on the motorway as i'm a saint.
Seriously people grow up, as long as you buy the album you shouldnt feel bad and are still a real fan. The tightwads who listen to it and then wont buy the album can f*ck off though

I caved.
I was determined to wait but I'm off on holiday next week and figured it meant I could give it a proper listen while on the beach.
That's how I justified it to myself anyway!
It's a very different Oasis album. Not sure it's as amazing as some people have said but I guess at least it's a bit of a change from the norm.
I can see why Noel said there were no singles on it. Of the songs I hadn't heard (Shock of the Lightning, Falling Down, Ain't Got Nothin') I would say Guess I'm Outta Time, The Turning and To Be Where There's Life are stand outs.
It's taken up from where DBTT and Lord Don't Slow Me Down left off - quite an American feel to it. A world away from Oasis 94-97.

I feel slightly pissed off with myself that I listened to it. I just couldn't help myself it was too tempting.
Anyone who listened and says they don't care that they did are lying. It would be better to listen the day it's released. I'm still going to buy it though.

I just decided that I'm going to wait. Let's see how long it lasts.
But my copy of NME should arrive today, so there'll be something to distract myself with for a bit. And then I'll just... rock back and forth in the corner.

once i heard the clips i new i had to get the leak cause i had tunes stuck in my head, and i didn't want to waste them sounding fresh cause i'd been playing em in my head all day.

So I'm probably holding out until the release, but I pre-ordered the box set, so I kinda already bought the album....

I decided to listen. I couldn't take it anymore. No I don't think it'll "ruin" the album for me. I'll be getting the deluxe and that'll have some new tunes and all the stuff in there should be enjoyable. I decided it was about the music not the contents in the album (though they are nice). I listened for the first time 3 in the morning and it was brilliant.
