only complaint i have is in TBWTL..... noel doesn't sing the echoing "it's what we do" like he does live
other than that..... amazing album haha

i think noel just puts andy's song's on there cause he has to keep it even....cause man, they aren't that good...and are we all not a LITTLE exaggerating the i'm outta time?? i mean compare it to don't go away, scyho, slide away, any noel ballad..it might me half as good as most of his classics Both Andy and Gem should just release solo albums and save these shit songs for their solo careers. They don't belong on Oasis albums.

"I'm Outta Time" is killing me. I'm loving the song, but it ends right when it's really getting started!

Gems To Be Where Theres Life is ace. Great tune

TSOTL and FD we already knew were great
The Turning, great tune, wouldnt sound out of place had it been on BHN

The Turning is great, some chunky riffing guitars, nice little guitar break, monged out drums, droning organ, confident, solid. Very nice.

alright first listen now
its the album be here now tried to be!
i love it...
soldier on does plod a bit, but it reminds of b.r.m.c.'s first album closer, the album has kicked so much ass to that point, that throwing on another brilliant singalong song might be over kill ....
its just kind of supports the concept of the album

Does anybody else wish that the 'dig out your soul' part of TBWTL happened more often in the song. It's just so awesome, but it only happens twice and towards the end.

You people are crazy to even suggest that the 2nd half is weak. The whole of the album is outstanding, particularly Outta Time, Turning, Soldier On, TBWTL and man, f*ck all of you for degrading High Horse, that shit is the meanest track on the album. I think, with the exception of Grand Contrarian Robohump, we'll all put this in the top 3, some of us at 1 others at 3, but thats irrelevant because what matters is this is their finest work in more than a decade. The only thing I'm mad about is that they wasted three albums when they totally had it in them to make more outstanding work. Amen.

Not a big fan of noel's vocal style for a while but he's pulled off something pretty cool on High Horse.
Also, hats of to Sardy, on initial listen the production seems well layered and original.

Fuckin love it. I had a big, shit-eating grin on my face through out. Aint Got Nothin? 2 mins of in yer face rock n roll, fits the album perfectly. Nature Of Reality? Kinda song Abbey Road is famous for. Production? Fantastic, well done Mr. Sardy. There's nothing trying to be the new DM, or the new DLBIA, it's Oasis 2008 and it's fuckin fantastic. From now on I don't care what any critic, journalist or anyone else says, in my eyes Oasis have produced their first classic album in 10 years, and that's all that matters to me now.

guys, with all due respect, same thing happens everytime an album leaks. HC was amazing at the time as well as DBTT, its fresh stuff! give it a few months and see what remains memorable. Theres some good stuff but its not on a BHN level. I can listen to BHN to this day all the way through without getting bored. I cant say that about this record.

Ok, that's nonsense, BHN had 2 things going for it 1) Cocaine and 2) Popularity. Outside of that their were maybe 4 "good" songs, the rest of that album was shit. This is their first attempt at a deeper approach and it paid off because it puts to shame the 97-2007 Oasis which were nothing but shouts and stupid ass riffs. Defo the best album since WTSMG and there's no arguing that. So be quiet.

to be honest i'm a bit disapointed with the final tracks i simply love Bag It Up, The Turning, The Shock, I'm Outta Time, High Horse Lady, Falling Down and To Be Where There's Life Waiting For The Rapture and Ain't Got Nothing are ok but, come on.. what the hell is up with The Nature Of Reality and Soldier On?! hated them both.. Soldier has a good melodie but it's so BORING.. (who was the one geezer who said it was like a Champagne Supernova kinda song?)

Well Be Here Now is Oasis' worst album in my opinion - so it's definitely beat that.
Right now it sits at number 3 in my Oasis chart. Its glorious.

I like Andy's song, the only songs on the album I'm not into are High Horse Lady and the closer.

I'm going to be totally honest. "Dig Out Your Soul" is an epic album. It's their best since "Morning Glory" (yes, it's better than Be Here Now) Bag It Up (Best opener since D'you Know What I Mean, love the hibbiejibbies part) 9/10The Turning (Love the drums and the intro the song just gets better n better) 10/10Waiting For The Rapture (Great Lyrics and awesome vocals, sounds like Oasis doing White Stripes and they pull it off. Should be single) 9/10The Shock Of The Lightning (Perfect for the first single. Get's better and better for me. Mixes perfectly into the album. Most Oasis sounding song on the album) 9/10 I'm Outta Time (Well what can I say? Liam's best for sure. It's playing as I type. Beautiful. I'm applauding) 10/10(Get Off Your) High Horse Lady (When I first heard it I was saying "Fucking too weird", but now I think it's genius. Noels vocals are hypnotic.) 10/10Falling Down (Song grew on me too, I love it Love the Bass and Drums, very Beatles as we all know.) 9/10To Be Where There's Life (Gems best tune without a doubt. The drums are excellent and when the bass kicks in it sends shivers. Liams vocals on this are surprisingly good.) 10/10Ain't Got Nothing (A lot better than the demo. Liams vocals are cleaned up. Guitar sounds clearer. I don't know why people don't like this. It's a proper rocker. I love it. 9/10The Nature Of Reality (I fuckin love the naked guitars. It the most unusual Oasis song I've ever heard but I'm digging it. 8/10Soldier On (this is the Grooviest tune on the album. I think this is up there with Liam's best. Probably my favourite on the album and it's a great closer. 10/10This is the album I've been waiting for. I'm a fan since "Be Here Now" and I never got such a instant buzz from an album in all my life. I know some of you will think I'm gone a bit over the top but I really don't care.

I love the middle of im outta time - before the solo - everything stops apart from the delay+reverb effect.
Great.
