I gotta say I'm already very sick of both 'Falling Down' and 'To Be Where There's Life'.
I'm also finding 'Soldier On' far too much like 'Better Man' in that it's repetative and droning.

Youve only heard the full studion versions of Falling Down and TSOTL........How can you get sick of TBWTL and such when youve only heard 40 seconds of them (studio, I know youve heard them live)
Maybe just dont keep playing 40 second clips over and over again.....
oh and btw, TBWTL rocks!

Awwww... poor Gem. Just to be clear, unlike the other poster, I don't want you to die. I just want you to leave Oasis and stop making music. Thanks.

I'm also finding 'Soldier On' far too much like 'Better Man' in that it's repetative and droning. how long did it take you to realize that if you play the same 40 clip over and over again it will get repetitive?

I suppose you'd rather have Bonehead back in the band. The guitar player who could only play bar chords, leaving Noel to play EVERY single bit of lead on every song Gem is out of Boneheads league as a guitar player, and songwriter......Gem may be a better guitarist than Noel TBTWL sounds ace

If you are so tired of the new album that you haven't heard yet, why are you still here?

The guitar player who could only play bar chords, leaving Noel to play EVERY single bit of lead on every song FACT: They haven't given a performance like that since you joined the band, Gem. Talk all day long about how shit Bonehead was, but the FACT remains the band sounded 100 times better in it's pre-Gem and Andy days than it currently does.

I'm sure Bonehead played a huge role in that performance, especially considering I could barely hear him. Also, bring back Tony McCaroll. Obviously he also played a key role.

The bottom line is that the band sounded better (both live and in studio) with their original line-up. And it's not even a close call. Listen to the '94 bootlegs from Chicago, Vancouver, etc. Listen to the '95 and '96 stuff. The entire Be Here Now tour. They were on fire. I'll take that band over today's version any day.
