i love this song didnt like it that much at first but i would say its better them record machine plus it fits the album unlike record machine. if rm was on the album it would stand out from the rest as it just wouldnt fit Right ok, and you have heard the full album to know what kind of song fits where do you? All this its a rocking no nonsense tune is bullshit, its a 3 min forgetful lump of wood, as i said before the guitar riff is the only thing thats decent on it

It's very lacklustre..reminds me of those crappy BHN b-sides. Stay Young, The Fame, Flashbax, Angel Child, Going Nowhere, the covers of Heroes and Street Fightin' Man...all those were top tunes, I thought.

It's shocking the way some of you lunk-heads defend this debacle. TMOS runs circles around this mess, and thats saying a lot.

TMOS doesn't run circles around this... in fact, i think the MOS is really boring compared to AGN...Just my opinion though. It's not a great song but a really good, aggressive album track.

It's interesting to think of this song in album context. If the album is one continous piece of music and most of the tunes are long droney psychedelic stuff Ain't got nothing might work a lot better by punching it's way out of the album.
By the way I don't mind the tune. Liam's a 2 minute mentalist

fact is, AGN shouldve never appeared on an album...bside could have been forgiven...
if people think i can see a liar and PYMWYMI are bad (and i initially like those on the first listen) than that song is liam's way of saying he hates people who arent deaf

As far as I'm concerned, Noel should still be writing the bulk of the songs, and if one of the others comes up with a great tune then by all means put it on there, but don't just share song writing duties for the sake of it.
What appears to have happened now is they've settled on a system whereby Gem and Andy get to provide at least one song each, and Liam at least 3, regardless of quality, leaving only 5 or 6 per album for Noel. Having said that, it doesn't help when Noel is offering up shite like She is Love, All in the Mind and Mucky Fingers.
Honestly my expectations for this album are a decent filler each from Andy and Gem, 3 or 4 top tunes from Noel, 2 or 3 turkeys from him, and then a few efforts from Liam, ranging between fairly good and utterly dire.

I agree Stay Young is a great song, but the likes of The Fame, Flashbax, (I Got) The Fever, My Sister Lover are bottom of the barrel stuff to me. They're the kind of songs AGN reminds me of.

Ain't Got Nothing is growing on me. I really didn't like it much at first, but now I'm starting to dig it.

more people will talk about this one track then probably the best song of this album. It's really not that bad for me. As a previously said its got the hard riff like better man but its got the balls of MOS. Its better than both of those. The drums sound top.

It has grown on me. It's a tune, no doubt about in MY mind.
I think we need songs like this and MOS. Noel can't write songs like this anymore (with the exception of TSOTL). He stopped after the likes of My Big Mouth and Be Here Now. If this is the worst song on the album I'm gunna be very very happy.
