It seems that alot of Oasis fans dont like this song. While I admit its not the best Oasis song, Little by Little features a pretty catchy course. Why the dislike for this song?

I don't like the way he sings the verses, and he sounds whiney during the chorus But it's a good song, the lyrics are good, and I like it

I like everything about it, except maybe the way he sings the verses.

I like it.
I remember listening to HC for the first time and LBL jumped out at me straight away. It was my favourite song on the album for a long time. The song is very under-rated by most Oasis fans but it seems most casual listeners love the song which is a mystery?

Its defitnitley a song you hear and then cant stop singing the chorus in your head all day. I like the way he softy sings the verses and then gets powerful into the the chorus. "But my god woke up on the wrong side of his bed!!!" I love that line into the chorus

it's fucking dadrock by numbers. ugh. putrid lyrics (apart from the god waking up line), a verse and chorus that DO NOT go together (and don't go saying it's clever how he put it together; it's not, it's forced), and yet ANOTHER of one of those stupid two-chords-repeating oasis endings that noel falls back on when he can't figure out how to end a song. it's preachy bon jovi dogshit.

at first I liked it, but I can't listen to it anymore.... I have a saying in my mind, but I don't know how to translate it. Es para la gilada. something like it's a song for those who are not fans, to get them, so they think "oh, what a lovely song. who's that singing it?"

It's brilliant. You need the somewhat boring verse for the tune to transcend into the awesome pre-chorus and subsequent smile inducing chorus.
''Gave you everything you ever dreamed of'' love that line, it's like Noel is addressing us, the fans here...and he probably is!

It's just an OK song in my opinion. Very mediocre and the first verse is awful and preachy. Everything about it sounds forced and it seems like they wrote it to try to come up with another anthem to get another number one.

i hate it. my least favourite Oasis song, probably the only one i really HATE. the chorus is atrocious and the verses are too low.

LBL is a funny song In my opinion, the verses and the chorus don't really work together: the verses sound very good on the record, unlike the chorus, whereas at live performances it's vice versa - the verses are ... hmmm ... unimpressionable, but the chorus sounds great (e.g., listen to the Manchester 05 version)
