Judging by the first 2 songs "falling" and "the shock"
Will this be their rebirth record kinda like what U2 did after zooropa and pop!
Its very possible.
Every great band has their hi's and lows and a comback album... Your thoughts???

that'd be nice if they got a second wind. i think they got momentum after DBTT and i hope it comes through on DOYS.

I not sure Oasis will ever have a comeback. I've come to accept them as The Doors like. Two stunning 1st albums with a collection of weaker follow up albums containing tripe and hidden gems

Everyone said heathen chemistry was a "return to form" then realised it was actually very average but contained a couple radio friendly singles. Then people said pretty much the same about DBTT (that seemed more of a critical success)... I just think people will always say an oasis album is a "return to form" just like Noel will always say "its our best since definitely maybe".
We'll all buy the album anyway even if we do just end up sticking definitely maybe on straight afterwards haha

as i thought the last album was pretty good i wouldnt call this a return to form. it is certinily different compared to the previous 6 albums and will surpirse a few people, especially the turning which is very very heavy.

What I meant was that this album is going 2 be a commercial success.

Probably sell about 3 or 4 million again. Doubt it will be a world conquering 10, 12 million seller or some shit.

It will probably be a real "comeback". I hope it isn't actually anything like All That You Can't Leave Behind, which, like everything by U2, is a pile of crap.

all that you can't leave behind was the single worst first-time-listening-to-an-album experience i've ever had. pretty much cringed for an hour straight.

I don't like it either but it put U2 back on the map.
