Who else here thinks that go let it out is terrible...
Lyla is garbage but ok live.
If I choose the singles for the last album I would have had it like this...
A bell will ring The importance Keep the dream alive
Heathin would be the same.
Standing:
Gas panic Where did it all go wrong Who feels love
Be here now*
My big mouth Its gettin better man Don't go away. The girl in the dirty..
Morning glory the same
Definitely maybe:
Slide away Columbia Supersonic Live forever

Go Let It Out is a fucking tune and one of the best things they've ever done. Lylas decent and I don't hate it but after a few listens I don't feel the need to listen it again as its a bit bland and boring.

Go Let It Out is fooking class. I only wish they'd re-introduce THAT to the setlist in Lyla's place.

lyla's better live than go let it out ever was.
also, go let it out's overrated on here. it's oasis by numbers, dressed up as something better than that.

DBTT: Lyla, TIOBI, Keep the Dream Alive, Guess God Thinks I'm Abel HC: The Hindu Times, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Songbird, Little By Little SOTSOG: Go Let It Out, Where Did It All Go Wrong?, Gas Panic, Roll It Over BHN: Dya Know What I Mean, Stand By Me, Don't Go Away, All Around the World WTSMG: Some Might Say, Wonderwall, Morning Glory, DLBIA, Champagne Supernova DM: Supersonic, RnR Star, Live Forever, Slide Away
those would have been my singles, although quite a few seem to be the same as the actual list of singles

Now stop stealing phrases from 'Music Journalism For Dummies'. oi! it's a perfectly sensible term. would you prefer i said it's "oasis treading water"? lyla isn't dressed up at all, it's down to earth rock 'n' roll. take it or leave it. it's like roll with it met street fighting man and told him to chill out a bit. now there's your 'music journalism for dummies'...

I love Go Let It Out, it's a nice update of the Oasis sound and is one of the few post-MG tracks that is up there with the early stuff.

Wouldn't change DM or MG's singles at all. BHN I would've released Don't Go Away as a fourth one, but other than that it was fine.
SOTSOG should've had Go Let It Out, Where Did It All Go Wrong?, Gas Panic. What posessed them to release Sunday Morning Call I will never know.
HC I would keep the same, except dump the rubbishy double A-side ish and have LBL as a stand-alone single with another b-side.
DBTT, I would've gone Lyla/Love Like A Bomb/TIOBI and LTBL a bit later on.

I think a reggae song uses the same lyric, or a version of it. At the time people in the press were writing that Noel probably took it from there. On wikipedia it says the song is Bobby and the Midnites' "Book of Rules".
Alternatively, around the time of SOTSOGs release there was a Noel interview which said that his (then) mother-in-law was sending him books of poetry "in the hope that they would improve his lyrics".
