Ashleigh, how did I Am The Walrus sound like? Was there a particular reason that they did Don't Look Back In Anger acoustic (Not that I'm complaining though ) Would you say that Waiting For The Rapture and Ain't Got Nothin' is the new albums most heavy songs? And finally, how did Supersonic sound like? Cheers!

Probably the same version they did with Zak in Glasto 2004, quite slow, i think it's pretty much the same pace as the studi version... Oh and I know this is too much to ask, but any guitar players noticed in which tune they played MBM and Slide Away? regular key or lower? and if Noel used some new guitar? he usually changes between tours, but I guess he sticked t the ES355 and the telecaster...

So, a more bluesy version of Supersonic then! I think I can dig that! And as you said, the My Big Mouth version was a bit fast and almost punky. I' getting super excited for this tour now! I just hope Liams voice will hold up through the tour. Interesting to hear about The Turning. That is a song I'll be really looking forward to hear then. Which other Oasis songs would you compare Waiting For The Rapture to by the way? Is it like Force Of Nature? I really love Noels mellow acoustic version of Don't Look Back In Anger, but nothing beats a really loud stadium version of Don't Look Back In Anger with a 50.000 + strong backing audience! I think I have the majority on this board with me on this Anyways, thanks very much for taking the time to answer all of the questions we got, Ashleigh.

We got to the venue just near WEmbley i think. Saw Jason Rhodes, said allo Jason, got a nod LOL. Was a small size room with people milling about, Nicole came in with Gene who was running about everywherelol. Paul Gallagher was there scruffy lol, Saw MAGGIE, said nice to meet you maggie when we left. Love maggie. LOL. Chris' fave dj there Phil Smith was on the drinks. Played a few songs Stones Roses, Weller, Jam, Style Council before a man came out to tell us we were the luckypeople who were going to listen to the new album. Then it started.
"Bag It Up" – 4:39 I thought it was gem singing doing liam..LOL sounded goood when it got going. "The Turning" – 5:05 HEAVY song. potential to be fucking epic "Waiting for the Rapture" – 3:03 noels white stripes effort..sounded pretty shit hot. "The Shock of the Lightning" – 5:00 everyone concured that this sounded ok in comparision to the first 3. which were great. "I'm Outta Time" (Liam Gallagher) – 4:10 first minute i didn't like it, the toys noise rhymes are out in force, but by the end....fuck me what a tune. "(Get Off Your) High Horse Lady" – 4:07 dunno what to think really..noel has a high voice all the way through it, distorted and there's the sound of horses hooves in it LOL LOL "Falling Down" – 4:20 The best song on the album. "To Be Where There's Life" (Gem Archer) – 4:35 didn't enjoy the album version, couldn't hear it well. LIVE ITS GREAT. "Ain't Got Nothin'" (L. Gallagher) – 2:15 I didn't notice any difference between this and the demo...i liked it,. "The Nature of Reality" (Andy Bell) – 3:48 FILLER "Soldier On" (L. Gallagher) – 4:49 Don't remember it. REALLY fucked off at the people chatting just waiting for the gig. Felt sorry for everyone who couldn't have been there. reviews These are all based on listening to it in a big room over a loudspeaker. So don't get all raggy asson me. I think it'll sound great on CD.
Now for the gig, FUCK ME. I was nomore then 8ft away from liam ALL night. Shook his hand while he was on stage still. :bigfuckingpairofshades: Nothing will ever beat this night.
Rock 'n' Roll Star - everyone was standing around....Liam said after "if you can't ave it 'ere where can you fucking 'ave it?" Lyla- got everyone going. The Shock of the Lightning Cigarettes and Alcohol The Meaning of Soul To Be Where There's Life - sounded really good live. really good. Waiting For The Rapture The Masterplan Songbird Slide Away - amazing. Morning Glory Ain't Got Nothing The Importance of Being Idle I'm Outta Time Wonderwall My Big Mouth Supersonic
Don't Look Back In Anger (acoustic) Falling Down Champagne Supernova I Am The Walrus - liam stood infront of the stage just as he finished his vocal. Then he just came off the stage and walked through the crowd straight past me LOL AMAZING. Patted him on the back, said good job liam.
His vocals were spot on all night. SPOT ON. Whatever he's doing fuckme.
Made Noel laugh when people were shouting out names, i shouted out JESUS to jay darlington. LOOOOOOOL. He smiled. Chris Sharrock was fucking great. I'm sure i've leftloads out butfuck me. Best night of my life and i'm never taking this fucking wristband off. LOL.

According to one of them posters on STC: "liam when he introduced it said something like "bet you didn't think you'd see this, one off behere now" and when we were all going mad for it, liam kept looking over to Noel as if to say "look, be here now rocks and im right" LOL which is a lot to say with one look....but....OH SHARROCK on the intro. FUCK MEEEEEEEE"
Fucking hell, I really hope they keep the tune for the rest of the tour. Just listened to it again and WHAT A ROCKER!

Playing MBM would be great to see they only played it a few times. It would be a great song to hear live these days. I hope this tour's set list will rival HC Tour for the amount of different songs they play

no SOTSOG...talk about a wise move eh I'd like to see at least 1-2 songs from each album being played. FITB, Go Let It Out, Gas Panic, and WDIAGW I wouldnt mind seeing, altho I dont see it happening anytime soon. I dont like the fact that 90% of the sets for their most recent tours consist of DM, WTSMG, WTSMG bsides, and whatever new album is out. Putting 1-2 BHN, SOTSOG, and even HC tracks would be nice to see. Wonder how many DBTT tunes they plan on playing...
