Its not good though is it. Back in the 90's i used to phone up constantly to get Oasis tickets (didnt have redial in those days !) but at least i knew if i was getting through or not.
Now you get through, hold for 10 minutes then get cut off. Go onto a website, click on book tickets, put in your credit card details, next screen 'sorry none available, reduce your number and try again' crap
Very frustrating. As for servers/websites falling over, its 2008 not the late 90's when the net was held together with a bit of string

See have got some major problems that need addressing if they're going to continue selling the in-demand tickets.

This is so frustrating.
See Tickets is, and always has been, an absolute joke!
Why weren't Sheffield and Liverpool on Ticketmaster?!
Hopefully some extra dates might be added but I'm not holding my breath - looks like I'll be monitoring Ebay for the next few weeks! Goddamnit!

Bollocks. Never got any. And yeah, why the fuck wasn't Liverpool on Ticketmaster? Did some site have an exclusivity on them or something? The actual arena's website was hopeless, currently experiencing high demand so the page wouldn't load. Do they not think about these things in advance? It happens time and time again.

I'm sure theyre gonna announce more dates soon, its an 18th month tour so next year i'm sure there'll be Manchester/wembley stadium ones.
Sorry know that doesnt help but at least you'll have another chance to see them.
I would also go on the day, often with 5 minutes to go till Oasis come on touts lower their prices to silly levels.
But like you say why wasnt sheff/liverpool on ticketmaster. Ticketmaster was a joke, one minute available, next not, then available again.
I cant believe in 2008 they cant get these tickets done properly

Makes you wonder just how many people are crashing the site.
Part-timers probably saw the adverts two days ago in the fucking Daily Mirror.

Damn some of those prices on ebay are huge ! Bad thing is as you cant see the bidders name i bet theres loads of (0) brand new ebay accounts created by the touts to push the prices up.

Just make a fucking daft bid of £200m or something. That usually puts a stop to it.

Yeah good point. No wonder theyre having 24 hour ebay auctions as normally ebay slowly start removing a fair few tout ones dont they ?
But prices for 300 quid for 2 tickets, i wouldnt sell mine but its tempting ! But 300 quid !! Ridiculous money, surely the tout is pushing the price up tons on purpose then when their mate wins it they do the usual 'offer it to the 2nd highest bidder' type scam.

I'm still looking forward to next year as i'm sure after their long US tour and other countries, there'll be a few UK dates. Didnt someone say Noel said something on the Zane Lowe show ? Eg Wembley stadium and surely a few manchester ?
