Slide Away can refer to any one, it's ambiguous and in no way suggests it's about a man or gay love. Taking that into account, you and your twisted "logic" alone could therefore claim it's about relations with a child, yet I don't think Noel is a pedophile.

Since there's no hints or subtext of anything gay or otherwise, then it's safe to presume it's about a straight relationship.

I can't wait for his next thread, I can see it now: "The Beatles song, 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' is about McCartney and Lennon"
