I think the demo of Force Of Nature that ended up on Heathen Chemistry was awful, but it could have been great with a well-produced Liam version. Also, Mucky Fingers, The Fame, Where Did It All Go Wrong?, The Masterplan, Flashbax and Full On could have been more amazing with Liam. Thoughts?

Full On (though Liam couldn't probably hit the highs...)

Not The Masterplan. No fucking chance. AGREED. Force Of Nature, for me. Would like to hear his take on Little By Little, as well.

Dont Look Back in Anger and Lord Dont Slow Me Down Don't Look Back In Anger may've been ok as a Liam song back in the 90s, but now it would sound awful. Liam couldn't hit the notes in the chorus, and if he did somehow, there's no chance he would hold them. It would sound worse than the Wonderwall chorus does now.

force of nature. though it probably would still suck. i wonder if Noel originally penned importance of being idle for liam, just cause it has "shine" in it.

definitely Little By Little... i heard that Liam were supposed to do it, but he backed out in the last moment... it would have been mega with his voice just classic.... now, I find it quite boring to tel you the truth....

No way could Liam hit the high notes in the Chorus on Little By Little. Back in 98' or 00' maybe, but no chance in 02' when that album came out.

Not The Masterplan. No fucking chance. At that time, Liam's voice was at it's finest (Cast No Shadow, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall) and The Masterplan likely would have been even more of a classic sounding tune... had it not been done with Noel and just after the Morning Glory sessions, a Liam Masterplan might have been the single greatest song on Morning Glory. As for Don't Look Back In Anger... at the time it was fresh and exciting to have one song sung by Noel, especially an amazing song... it gave Oasis an extra dynamic that impressed me even more because up until that time, Noel had only sung the mellow b-sides and the chorus of Acquiesce... Force Of Nature with Liam's sneer would have been fantastic, and both Flashbax and The Fame are terrific songs... the only drawbacks being that the first verse gets repeated.. had they been sung by Liam they would have been classics... imagine how he'd have pronounced "Sitting On A Throne'll Give A Bad Back To Yaa"

The Importance of Being Idle
Seriously, how funny would it be hearing Liam trying to hit those high falsetto notes?

Could you imagine what "Idler's Dream" would sound like with Liam's vocals? I couldn't.

Noel sings the songs that liam can't so I'd say none.

i'd say liam could sing any of them better except TIOBI
he wouldn't be able to sing any of them live and maybe they'd have to lower the key for some because of high notes but liam hands down has the better, more rockin voice, and liams voice sounds better on ballads too.

I'm usually not one to say 'oh man i wish that was liam instead" but Mucky Fingers was soooo much better suited for Liam. I think it was actually the first time Noel's ego actually hurt the quality of their music (in my eyes of course)
