According to The Times journalist in his interview, Liam has 1 good, 1 indifferent & 1 bad song on the album. They name the good song as I'm Outta Time but it doesn't say which the other 2 are.
Small snippet of info but there does seem to be lots of positive words for Outta Time, looks like a definate single at some point.

I think the bad one will be Ain't Got Nothin'. Uhh...yeah. I'd think so too. Cuz if 'Ain't Got Nothing' was either the 'Good One' or 'Indifferent One', the only way you could get worse would be to mic up some guy's ass as he's taking a dump.

Of course its Ain't got Nothin, how its on the album is beyond me and the fact its there does scare me a little bit about the overall quality.

If Ain't Got Nothing is the "indifferent one" then we are in trouble.

This is very bad news.
If Outta Time which NME described as the best song on the album only is good then this album will be just as average as DBTT. Indifferent is another word for weird and is negative too.
NME seemed to advertise DOYS in their latest magazin but I cant say that I believe in this album any more.

The Times is the best newspaper in the UK, and I don't give a shit what anyone says, it just is.
Though I wouldn't take a few comments about a song too much to heart, it's not even a review.

Both Soldier On and Outta Time have been said to be good songs, so I wouldn't panic just yet.

Times Readers > You. Working class? I'll have you know these shoes I'm wearing didn't give me much change out of a tenner. How do you think I could better myself? Maybe change my username to Chaucer and post a few bits of fake Oasis news.

They didn't come out and say it was the BEST, but the review was "beautiful, beautiful..."

I do believe I'll make up my own mind when I hear the album. I don't particularly need the Times to tell what I like...

Get back to us and tell us you don't believe in it after Oct 6 (or whenever it leaks) then if you don;t like it fair enough...why be negative? Its unhealthy. Cheer up!

I can't listen to music critics; I rarely agree with them and there's far too many of them with varying opinions. I'll be the one to decide what tunes are good and what tunes are bad. I'm not letting anyone from the fucking NME to the New York Times to the local newspaper decide what I like and I don't.
And that means the Ting Tings can fuck right off.

take it easy people...who knows if this "journalist" is even a (the?) times music critic to begin with?
Probably based this off one listen anyway.

You could safely bet a million dollars that the "good" one is "outta time", the "indifferent" one is "soldier on" and the "bad" one is "nothin on me" (what a shocker).
Im sure soldier on is a 5 1/2 minute grower. Hard to believe Noel/Dave would have it seal up the album otherwise (then again, its hard to believe nothin on me saw the light of day either, so who knows?).
They should shell nothin on me right off the fucker...there's still time. Fuck, make the time if you have to.
