no you F off any real oasis fan knows they cater the setlist around songs Liam can sing he's not dead, but he sure as hell can't sing Don't Go Away anymore unless they drop it a step or most likely two steps. ever try listening to a Slide Away boot from 2001? that was awful and 7 years ago. i doubt his voice has improved since then. and not every oasis fan considers tuts a pile of shister... its one of my faves from DBTT Agreed. If he could still sing (like he used to) Slide Away would still be in the set list, tour after tour. It's a fucking quality song, and Liam used to be able to nail it live too. |

Great song, but no fucking chance. Also, Im sure Noel hates it.

Noel should sing slide away acoustically. Hated when Liam sang slide away when he couldn't hit the note in ''now that your..''
It's Good to be Free, Fade Away, Headshrinker would all work a treat however.
THere's much to be said for a noel acoustic set. A ten/fifteen minute break would be good for Liam to refocus and revamp his voice for the last 5 or so songs, the fans would be pleased, and supposedly so would noel.
It's a pity that some oldies will never be dropped as it would be unfair to fans seeing them for the first time. Personally Wonderwall on electric guitar is not as great as say it's acoustic counterpart at Maine Road.
No songs from BHN, DBTT,SOTOG should be at an oasis concert except for gas panic and little by little. SOTOG while a really superb album just doesn't have the songs necessary for a great oasis open air/indoor concert. And while DBTT has good tunes, the same applies, except perhaps for MOS, which should be included but not counted as a song in the set number of songs oasis have decided on for the gigs.
Oasis concerts are all about the acquieces (should be played later in the setlist mind you) and the live forever's with a sprinkling perhaps of talk tonight and sad song as the dusk cometh.
As oasis have become more musical (ie gem and andy loath to create the bonehead and guigs wall of sound) songs from the last few albums don't fit the criteria for the open air/indoor oasis concert.
On a positive note, i feel DOYS won't disappoint on this front, and will be a real live treat.

Unfortunately I highly doubt Liam's voice will ever be able to handle some of those songs again, especially Listen Up and DGA  . |

I But Gas Panic, Listen Up, It's Good To Free and Don't go Away sound almost too good to be true.... Gas Panic definitely sounds off base, as does Dont Go Away. I wouldnt count out Listen Up or Its Good To Be Free though. I doubt we'd get Liam singing them, but the most recent tour (2006 acoustic thing) Noel busted both of those out. I know that there has been talk of the acoustic set coming back (it was mentioned during press for those shows), so it wont be a shocker if either of those were played. Funnily enough, both of those songs were played at my very first Oasis show lol (Vancouver 95). Gas Panic should be played, but it just seems unlikely. Not putting any stock in any of this at all btw, but its fun to speculate. |

I've got a feeling that Shakermaker will make it's live return this tour....
Would love for the inclusion of a Noel acoustic set, but don't think it's gonna happen...
TIOBI will be the only DBTT song...
Listen Up will be in there...
Excited about what the new cover will be... (if there is one)

I would like them to remove Moring Glory from their set list. It's a good song, but live, I find it a bit boring. It was better before I think. Hopefully they'll replace it with Supersonic or Columbia!
