What does this mean?
------------ Litany (Dictionary.com):
1. a ceremonial or liturgical form of prayer consisting of a series of invocations or supplications with responses that are the same for a number in succession. 2. the Litany, the supplication in this form in the Book of Common Prayer. 3. a recitation or recital that resembles a litany. 4. a prolonged or tedious account: We heard the whole litany of their complaints. -------------
I'm not religious, so I can't see how the religious definitions fit. The 4th and last definition seems to make most sense:
4. a prolonged or tedious account: We heard the whole litany of their complaints.
Life is a litany, a magical mystery = life is long.....surely?

.....Noel's been reading the dictionary again apparently....
Now I know that song couldn't have been Liam's because he doesn't know any words with more than 2 syllables in them...

LOL analysing oasis lyrics. Didn't you notice it rhymes? How bored are you? You make it sound like Noel has never written thought provoking lyrics..."Yo found your God in a paper back, you get your history from the union jack...." "Every beginning has broken its promise" Back to the original topic....

He has now and again but a lot of the time its because the words sound good together i think.
Have you not read the NME interview, he suggest's that any religious connotations are not really intended.

You don't even have the lyrics right! It's "LOVE is a litany/ A Magical Mystery" It means that love is an ongoing thing (list of things) and therefore is A Magical Mystery (Which is taken from the song Magical Mystery Tour by The Beatles).
