I don't think hes really trying to insult him there. Just kind of addressing the situation. Anyways Noel said he likes him in that NME interview and that they hung out in Japan before so really I think the only people trying to keep this going are the media.
Good publicity for the upcoming album though!

Take it from me, someone who hates these rappers more than you can understand. Jay-Z is one of the good guys. He handled the media as classy as you could, which he didn't have to. He said nothing bad about Oasis, nothing bad about Noel. He's done nothing but just have some fun with it. Nothing wrong with that...

Yeah, Jay Z has actually left his ghetto tendencies and ways behind him. Unlike so many other useless rappers who are so proud of being crude, ingnorant as fuck, and having 20 kids w/ 6 different woman, Jay Z improved himself.
He's actually a good role model.

Getting dissed by a rapper (providing you are not one yourself) is actually a huge compliment. Rappers only sing about people who are relevant. You only have to look at Eminem disses through his albums and what they coincide with in popular culture at that time. It usually means you're doing something right.

Kanye has more douchebaggyness in his pinky finger than Jay Z has in his whole body. That guy is a waste of space.

I've never read that but I love how everyone says Oasis's just rips off the beatles. Sure they've nicked quite a bit but Noel gets stuff from other artists too, Stones, Pistols, Roses, Smiths, T-Rex, even Burt Bacharach. Just if you really listened to Oasis's music you would understand that of course the Media blows the beatles influence up and at least Noel plays and writes his songs with out using samples.

‘I can say that Noel Gallagher rips off The Beatles. I can say that because I’ve heard his music.’" Whenever that line pops up, it's always confirmation that whoever said it either (1) hasn't ever even listened to Oasis, otherthan maybe Wonderwall and/or CS or DLBIA and (2) forms their perception of Oasis directly from any American music magazine's reviews/critiques and or (3) doesn't know shit about music or Beatles Music. The only musical steal Oasis has on any Beatles music is 1.) Outro to She's Electric which was ripped directly from Little Help from My Friends 2.) melody from "And I Waaaant you to know..." in She's Electric; that was off of While My Guitar Gently Weeps... The rest are just lyrical REFERENCES to Beatles songs, which are not stealing in any way, shape or form. Rant over. Bee-yotch.

That's just a style of bass playing, not an actual musical chord progression, or melody, or whole idea....
Know what you mean, but that's not ripping anything off, he's just using that bass line that McCartney always used on Revolver-era stuff. Mani of the Stone Roses did the same thing on a few of their tracks as have many others, it's just a certain style......call it the 'Mid-Era Beatles McNartney bassline style...". That's all.

They are the closest thing to the Beatles in terms of their style (simplistic, heavy 60's influence, piano, acoustic guitars, Liam's obsession and similarities to John Lennon, etc...) so who the hell cares if people say they rip off the Beatles? That's probably the biggest compliment you can give a band IMHO...To me it means people have to rationalize how something could sound almost as good as the Beatles since very few ever have

"I'M TYPING SO HARD I COULD BREAK MY MAC BOOK AIR IN HLAF" Fuck off. I respect Jay-Z though, the man knows how to handle himself. But if he keeps bringing this up then Noel will walk away the winner.

That in Hip Hop you could say is the equivalent of band like Oasis ripping off the Beatles so really hes not one to talk. ie.youtube.com/watch?v=RqScH2CfYTg

^ imagine if a video like that could be made about noel's lyrics
and jay-z is better off in the "feud" because his medium is such shit they can spout off hate as long is they find two words that rhyme whereas if noel wrote a lyric like
tha brotha wif big lips fuckin beyonce is a little whiney tosser d'ya you hear what i say?
as a chorus to an oasis tune it'd be laughable.

lol i just think its funny that someone who wrote such "classics" as nigga what nigga who and jigga my nigga is trying to start shit with the man who wrote Live forever, dont look back in anger, and slide away not to meniton countless other legnedary tunes. The shit noel takes every morning has more talent in it then jay z will ever have.
