Noel has gone on record and claimed that he said he was going solo because he knew it would annoy Liam and there's no truth in that.

You guys are delusional. Of course it MAY happen. Anything MAY fucking happen. But to say that Noel has said it would, or to say that it's inevitable is just wrong.

I did read what Alex had posted and I took on board what was said and if anything I've been comeing round to the idea that the solo album might no be as inevitable as I first thought (which if you'd read what I posted you may of picked up on) - but that's the beauty of being on a discussion forum - I mean, at least I'm happy to admit when I may be wrong, show my sources and post something constructive rather than just calling people idiots!

Noel should just do what Kelly Jones did. He recorded it while they were in the studio for the Stereophonics album, 2 days recording, all live takes. That wouldn't affect Oasis in any way but would still give fans the solo album they want.

Just because he says something doesn't mean its true, he could have been kidding around. But if you want a Noel solo album, listen to the first three Oasis albums. And if you want to hear him sing, download JONO's Lord Stop The Clocks DVD...

I'm definately comeing round to the idea that it may not be as inevitable as I first thought, if he was going to do it, obviously it would need to stand out from stuff he's already done with Oasis so it may not be that straight forward but I still feel there's a strong possibility becuase of the nature of this game and Noels interests and some of the other reasons I've already pointed out - also I'd like to see it happen so it's kind of wishful thinking!
