Yeah, he's embarassingly let himself go over the past few years....he definitely hasn't missed a meal in quite some time. Some of those pics with him wearing sleevless shirts are hideous. Guy's got man-tits and a big gut. Shameful...  |

You have to reach a bottom before you can build yourself back up again, he was probably just Waiting for The Rapture before getting serious about his health. He doesn't want to go young, he wants To Be Where There's Life. Perhaps The Nature of Reality is finally hitting home. Nic doesn't want to Soldier On without him. running is really good for your lungs, I run 5k (3miles) nearly everyday and I always feel like I could sing an oprea afterwards and I don't sing at all. I love it, I put a different playlist on my Nano everyday and it makes me want to run because I really want to hear the tunes.

The reason why Liam's voice is perfect everytime you see them live is because you can't really hear it. In this video the voice is on top of everything. So, bad mixing, at least for his voice it is. |

your last statement is doubtful. the damage has been done. hence, the kermit voice. Well, it can't hurt.  I always think of Dylan's NASHVILLE SKYLINE, since he apparently gave up smoking prior to recording. The man sounds like a completely different singer on some songs, especially LAY LADY LAY. I love this video of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. It's not the greatest performance, but shit, two legends. *EDIT. It seems embedding youtube videos now creates ads. I'm predicting Liam's voice is the best its been in years for this tour.
One of his main problems was his shortness of breath. Hell, he could barely finish singing a line of a song before gasping for breath at the end during the last tour. But yea, jogging will really help w/ his lung capacity.
And giving up the smokes... I mean... shows the guy really wants to save his voice and improve it as of now.
