in the article it said he might have to sing the classics twice a week for the next 18 months, i sure hope that there not playing two gigs a week that would be rediculous, i think there just taking the piss.

That's great that he's stopped smoking, I can't count the amount of family members I've lost to lung cancer. Hopefully it will help his voice too... hopefully we won't have another one of these...

I wonder if this performance was after a lot of gigs or something. The second time I saw Oasis, Liam sounded incredible! His voice was so damn powerful. But when I heard the bootleg, it really wasn't that good. Live, though, it sounded great. |

I always think of Dylan's NASHVILLE SKYLINE, since he apparently gave up smoking prior to recording. The man sounds like a completely different singer on some songs, especially LAY LADY LAY. I wouldn't want to see him perform with that kind of strained voice from that Lyla performance although just seeing him stand on stage and take on his famous stance would be enough to satisfy me.
