Very true, best probably to try and get the first night tickets. Maybe it will turn into a radio collaboration like the Foo's gig, especially as Zane Lowe is launching the stuff over here.

I hope they go to Newcastle. No chance of them coming to Sunderland though, due to there being fuck all venues .

Holds 49,000 people . hmmm well seems big enough for me ;D Haha I wish! The only people who have played there are The Futureheads. They're good but not on par with Oasis.

I'd like to see them in a smaller club, which is the best place to see a band; Intimate settings. I never prescribed to the whole "This band's music is best heard in stadiums" nonsense. That ideal only applies if it's Poison, or some other cock-rock shite from the 80's.
One of the good things about seeing them in the U.S. is that they still may play a medium sized venue (1,000 - 2,000 seater). Although last time they played a big-ass arena here, which is not as cool IMO.

Sorry i disagree, different genres of music suit different locations...Rock music like the Foo Fighters is better in a stadium.
Also due to the demand for tickets in the UK, we need larger venues.
Anyway in the US you sit down near the stage, what the hell is that all about?

That's a good point about the sitting down...I have no clue why some people do that. I went to a Stones show at the United Center (Chicago Bulls basketball team plays there) like 3 years ago. My buddy and I had the front row on the balcony, which was still pretty close to stage, and a PERFECT close up spot for when they did there 'small stage' part for a few songs. He and I were pretty queened at that point; up and dancing like morons and people were all shouting at us to sit down. Unfuckingbelievable. 'Beardstrokers' as Noel would say. Although, if you go to some kind of EMO concert, all the 16 year olds won't be sitting down. It depends on what kind of music, I guess. Oasis fans are getting older, I guess, including yours truly.

If you had seating up close to the stage here in the UK it'd be carnage!!! They'd be rip up for sure, especially in places such as Scotland .
At a stadium gigs here, you'd have a combination of standing and sitting tickets available and to be honest for most of us we'd be gutted if we couldn't stand.

Yeah, that's probably also because the Scottish folk 'fancy a drink or 20' and also are pretty game for 'swedges'
