Sympa, quoi. BS Hmm........I can't read alien pal. Can you upload in English, por favor?

Oasis is heavly beaten by other rock bands more big, more modern, more best since a long time.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with that statement.
The boys have not developed their sound and have been eclipsed by more ambitious bands over the past decade, musically speaking.
Thx for translating...

TRANSLATION
"Oasis having been really quiet over the last few years, overshadowed/crushed by better, bigger and more daring/modern bands, the Gallagher brothers needed some controversy/scandals to have people talk about their upcoming album, Dig Out Your Soul to be released on October 6th, highly anticipated from their die hard fans and a lot less by everyone else without a doubt.
Liam Gallagher has found a new battle: Coldplay and Radiohead. He especially insults the fans in the best mancunian way. "I've softened over the years but not to the extent of Coldplay and Radiohead" declares Liam. He adds that he doesn't listen to bands who are less than 20 years old. "I don't hate them, I don't wish them ill. But I think that their fans are ugly and boring et they don't look like they're enjoying themselves." Nice, isn't it.
OK which magazine came up with that garbage?? I'm sure it's the Inrocks.
How come we never heard about that whereas every tiny bits of news is reported in that forum?

So....I should say, 'You can speak English fluently, that is very cool'. Anyone who is fluent in 2 languages is cool in my book. I know a couple Spanish words from Highschool, but that's it.

Thanks to a good brainwashing from the posh pseudo intellectual entertainment authority that is Les Inrocks...

Without wanting to turn this topic back on to Oasis too much, I always though the general consensus was that Slide Away and Married With Children were songs written about Noel's first serious girlfriend, mentioned in Paul Gallagher's book "Brotherhood". From the book:
1) Slide Away - "There's no doubt that this one is about ex-girlfriend Louise and is about knowing that you're in love, but facing the inevitably of splitting up...."
2) Married With Children - "This again is very much Louise Jones inspired. Noel was living with her, playing his songs all day and night at home while she was out working, and when they'd she would hit out at what she knew would get at Noel most. I think he's written a lot of it from her point of view"
Now obviously, people are entitled to derive their own meaning from a song in relation to their own experiences etc. etc. So if you want to read them as homosexually orientated songs then that's a personal preference. However, these explanations seem to make the most sense for the lyrical content of the songs for me, if we're looking for Noel's inspritation for the lyrical content, rather then basing interpretation on a couple of isolated, potentially posed pictures.
