That's a brilliant idea! Did he record all of the songs that were listed in that lyric book site cos I would quite like to hear definitely maybe (probably a crap song with a good title though, maybe why it didn't make the album) We should be trying to track down everything though, not just this tape. |

Whoever has it is probably hoarding it til Oasis breaks up, or whenever they figure there'll be an upsurge in popularity so he/she can make the most money. I don't think there's anything we can do in the meantime. We could barely pull together 5000 pounds to buy the other tape, and it's gonna take a lot more just to bribe people into giving us the owner's contact info.
I'm dying to hear the songs you mentioned, though. I'd love to hear what music the words to England is set to. If they bought it it's their right, but it ticks me off to think it could just be sitting in someone's house waiting to get lost or damaged, if it hasn't happened already. Hopefully Noel made other recordings of the songs and still has them, but I doubt it.

I've got "What's it got to do with you" and I think I have a clip of "Have fun". they leaked some years ago in a boot with some demos from DM and 2 songs, "Hey You" and "But what if" (all them were demos). I'm sure plenty of people in this forum have them |

The tape bought by Monobrow and others wasnt this one, it had a few different songs and can be downloaded here: www.mrmonobrow.dsl.pipex.com/monobrow/noelsolo.htmits not great to be honest, pretty much what you would expect form someones first songwriting attempts. As far as I know the songs mentioned above that are not on the "monobrow" tape have never surfaced |
