When you say Ain't Got Nothin is the same as the demo you mean the same song right? Not the same exact version, as I know Noel's said that none of the leaked song's versions are on the album.
Also do you know what they've done with the track that's since the demo?

I like Nothin' On Me.. A lot of energy. Good album track and IMO better than MOS... Up with Songbird for me.

The only thing I really don't like about the demo is Liam's vocals. As long as they sound a bit better on DOYS i'll should be happy with it being on there.

Compare it's crappiness to the album version, or any pair of songs from the leaked demos actually. There's a huge difference. Sometimes demo's have no resemblance to the final song except lyrics.

In this case, I believe its been said that nothin on me is 95% ideintical to the demo, sans a little tweaking to the guitar solo. I don't doubt it either, as the demo was so sparse and lacking that little could be done to it without turning into an entirely different tune (alluding to your premise again, but, like I said people are maintaining that's not the case). Again, I'm fearful that IS the case and I have little doubt that it will be the clunker on the lp (already is according to LDNMD). I think people are really kidding themselves if they think it's any better than a 5.5/10...at BEST. Personally, I think we're in PYMWYMI and ICSAL territory. Yeah, its that bad. At least there's 10 other tunes though, it's just too bad there wasn't an eleventh to bend this one off. |

I have this tune playing in my car and I had to turn it off.Ive been listening to Oasis since I first heard Columbia on Stev le Mac way back when and this is the only time I thought "I dont like this ".The demo is the same as MOS not similar ,the same.Written at the same time too I'd say.I cannot understand why you would put it on an album and not IWTLIADIMRM.I suppose they have form for doing this before as previouly stated on this tread,SOTSOG had LJ and left LAMB off.HC had SIL and left YGTHOAS off.I really hope they changed the tempo ,rhythm , lyrics on it because it is going to be another case of them holding back great songs and sticking in fillers.I cant belive Im writting this because for the last 14 years I have lived and breath this band and love everything they have done up to know.
Someone tell me Im still a good boy...........................

Secondly, It's a Crime was just Noel on an acoustic and it was a demo. No shit it wasn't up to par. Not to mention that Noel's voice has drastically improved while Liam's has drastically gotten worse. Also, the revamped lyrics and the added instruments make a huge difference as well. Liam's voice isn't even that good on it. lol . . . |

It sounds like a monkey is playing drums. If they sort out a beat then I think The repeated refrain/chorus could be really good, but then you have to sort out the lyrics cos their a bit like a list of Liams one line mantras ala TMOS

well i look at it this way... if noel had written it... it wouldn't be on the album... b/c it seems that every album we get from oasis now will include at least 3 liam tunes.... and i think maybe that nothin on on me is on the album because it is one of lLIAM's better 3 during the recording of this album (hopefully his 3rd best).
i know i may sound confusing but its only b/c im freakin tired....

Now this is what I don't understand...
If the demo is 95% identical to the album version, with just a little tweaking in the guitar solo, then how come it has been mentioned BEFORE the tracklisting even surfaced that none of the leaks were on there.
Even if it was the same song, it had to have had a large amount of changes for someone not to notice it, and say none of the leaked songs were on the albums?
I believe the article was the first album review by a DJ, before the tracklisting surfaced....
I don't think its the same song, but I also think some people should stop giving lorddontnoelmedown shit, if his information is true, its true, if not, whatever, just wait until the album release, or 15 more days until TSOL is on the radio

It wont be the same song ffs, your all just guessing.. no one knows if its the same song or not.. Why would Noel say none of the leaked tracks are on the album then one of them is.. just because the name is similar to Nothin On Me doesnt mean anything.
