Seriously, forget about the Riddler etc for two minutes and listen to my very brief review of the new album
Waiting for the Rapture is the one we have waited for. Lyrics:

From what I've heard of the album, fan and critical reception of DOYS once its released will either go one of two ways:
1. Second coming for the band OR
2. Because it's not as songy (FTR 'groovy' equals drum and bass, with simple but good melodies repeated again and again) it could receive a reception that polarises fans
For me, the same thing that happened after the release of SOTSOG, HC and DBTT happened this time- a big release of adrenaline when I got the CD and then finely tuned listening and then selecting the four or so songs from the record that made you feel good, but not great (except for Waiting for the Rapture this time).
It is a cohesive album but not an anthem album - prepare yourselves for this and everything will be just fine
PS Edith Bowman is lying - the version I heard had RM on the end

There are a couple of possibilities here.
1. The credibility of theriddler as a new member with few posts is being taken advantage of by some morons who always flood the forum around this stage of the process. This time they just feel like they can be perceived as credible.
2. Something is about to happen, and there's this "I told you first, I saw it first, I heard it first, me me me" reaction that I used to have with other 5 year old kids in the school yard back in the day.
With any of this nonsense, hope for the best, expect very little.

Hmm interesting. At least you posted something we don't know (with the lyrics) - could be credible, but still, everyone knows how much BS goes on in this forum around this time. But if this is true its a shame theres not a 3 option saying - "EVERYONE WILL LOVE IT, FANS AND CRITICS ALIKE - FUCKIN EPIC..." Also, your sayin its not that great? Where does it rank with all the other albums Oasis have released. And i guess no kitchen sink too?  |

What a load of bullshit, we already know RM isn't on the album as we've seen the track listing, unless its a hidden track which is unlikely because Noel said all his leftovers from DBTT were beginning to sound like b-sides so there aren't any of his older songs on the album. Dipshit, do your research before making silly posts like this

i would say its unlikely that the promos that go out for this will be the deluxe version with everything on it, and as its still a few months off i doubt there would even be a copy of it yet

It makes sense that they might be on the deluxe version, Paul weller put out some demo's on the deluxe version of 22 dreams and if remember correctly the deluxe version of Back to black from Amy Winehouse had some demo's but only time will tell.
