I'm not going to add b-sides because I haven't heard all of them and there's just too many. So I just did album songs and these are off the top of my head.
No particular order:
1.) Meaning of Soul- this song is absolutely terrible. The only reason alot of people like it is because Liam wrote it. It is by far the worst song on DBTT and 'different breed and different league' speaks for itself. The 'attitude' behind the song is so generic that it's sad. Eyeball Tickler should have been put on the album instead which would have the DBTT so much better.
2.) The Hindu Times- why this song gets so much love is unknown. This is clearly Noel trying to recreate a RnRS opener. Plus, he clearly rips off the riff from the Stereophonics' 'Same Size Feet'.When Noel rips things off it's usualy much better than this effort. Go listen to what the Stereophonics do with it and maybe you might see. The best word to describe THT is 'contrived'.
3.) Little James- everyone knows the reasons. Musically, I actually somewhat like it and the melody isn't all that bad. But the lyrics are terrible.
4.) Better Man- I actually don't mind the guitar in this song. But the song just kind of goes on and on. Plus, it's a disappointing closer for an album.
5.) A Quick Peep- this was a waste of a track on the album. I wasn't going to add an instrumental to the list but I quite enjoy FITB and Swamp Song, so I put it on here. It's a skip everytime.

Wow it seems My Sister Lover is taking some heat and started a dominoe effect. I think this song is great and maybe with a bit more work would be to the liking of others. I know I am the only one on the whole site who would put it in my top 10, but there's something about it I just find amazing and powerful.

roll with it, purely for the blur thing, it is actually an alright song
wonderwall, does my head in oasis are the band that did wonderwall to people
magic pie, i much much much prefer the acoustic version i have, the only song on be here now i dislike, i love that album.
just getting older, how depressing, really it is
PYMWYMI, just not a good song in my opinion.
and i am a huge oasis fan and i really had to think to find 5 i really disliked enough to take the time to post on this thread, and the first two aren't really because off the quality of the tunes.
i'm so suprised at some choices such as roll it over, all around the world, were did it all go wrong, sunday morning call, but suppose ever one has there opinion!!

#1. Born on a Different Cloud Maybe the worst song I've ever heard in my life. Fucking embarrassing. Liam's attempt to rape John Lennon. A total fucking mess of a song. . that made me laugh so hard. aside from that, some of your opinions make me wonder why you're on this board. I love all their early stuff (singles, album cuts, b-sides, demo's... everything). Most of their new stuff has been atrocious, imo.

1. Mucky Fingers 2. Mucky Fingers 3. Mucky Fingers 4. Mucky Fingers 5. Mucky Fingers I agree 100% with you mate! This is the only Oasis song that I dislike! Actually, I hate it to bits. It's a fucking disgrace. i can stand any other Oasis song except Mucky Fingers - its horrible.

Magic Pie-I only listen to the first two verses, then i just get bored. Better Man-Don't even know the lyrics to this PYMWYMI-below average Little James A Quick Peep
A Bell will ring also deserves a mention, aswell as sister lover, good song but disturbing title. Mucky Fingers is a great song though especially the 'fed up with life in the city...' Carry us all is fucking awesome and Alive is too (don't know why noel lambasts it, it's a tune 'you want something for nothing..')

Wow wow wow!!Just saw someone put Flashbax and Full On on their list!!Now that's fucking Retarded!! Full on is one of the tunes along with BIOD that you play when you're going out on the town. And Flashbax...well what an intro 'I spend my time sitting on the fence with a mate of mine trying to write the line of a story etc.' Has that awesome spring-time feel

1. She Is Love - Alright tune, horrible lyrics. Bob from That 70's Show would like it, but not too many people under 40. 2. Little James - I hate to see a song get so much hate but the lyrics really are not that good. The song's music had great potential that was wasted on something that would only look impressive if written by a little kid who had just gotten into Hey Jude. (btw, the previous two sorta make me glad we're not allowed to hear Don't Be Down.) 3. I Can See A Liar - Not very good in the first place but what sets it apart is its bizarre placement on the album. I like to put SOTSOG on after a shower and relax, maybe fall asleep, but then that song kicks in out of nowhere with its loud riffs and horrible lyrics before they sign you off with Roll It Over ... WHY? 4. Keep The Dream Alive - By now I'm just evening up the five. I don't really hate it, but it's so damn generic. If Oasis were a hard rock band and they were just going, "alright, here's our ballad, whatever" fair enough. But its only practical use would've been to appear on a movie soundtrack (I know, not written by Noel, but still), not an album. Hung In A Bad Place/Lyla/Love Like A Bomb/A Bell Will Ring tie for fifth, draw it out of a hat. It may sound like I don't care for DBTT, but these are just brown spots on an otherwise very cool album. Lyla isn't terrible, but I curse it being the lead single. LLAB, just for being a pop song that was scarred with such a *subtle* lyric as "you turn me on" repeated over and over again. ABWR can be classified as a Yes ripoff, something I hope never to hear again from this band. HIABP was bad with nonsensical lyrics and pointless when you already had Force of Nature. I might have added It's Gettin' Better (Man!!!) and others from BHN and earlier, but I can't because that's when I fell in love with the band. Fade In/Out is a psychedelic marvel to me and Magic Pie IS the meaning of life for all I'm concerned. If I'd included non-album songs they'd all have been I Can See It Now and the DBTT b-sides. SOTSOG was a chll album, if that's the right term. It was just the band saying, "here's a snapshot of those Burnage boys after they grew up" signifying they were done trying to making landmarks and I think that just hit some people harder than others.

AAHH HELLLOO? THE FAME, DEFINITELY WITHOUT DOUBT THE MOST IGNORANT SHIT HEADED UP YOUR ARSE SONG YOU WILL EVER HERE WRITTEN BY NOEL GALLAGHER "I'm a rock star, kiss my ass," yeah. But it also comes down to asking what you expected from him once he realized the dreams of Definitely Maybe and soared to higher reaches than WTSMG. You were going to get a deluded jerk sitting with his nose in an assload of coke big enough to make Tony Montana blush, what else? I fully agree about Flashbax being a great spring tune. That grandiose effect to those b-sides can be a double edged sword depending on how much you were ever into his confidence/arrogance.

They got there first. Possibly sadder.

5. Step Out 4. Won't Let You Down 3. Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is 2. I Can See a Liar 1. Life in Vain (I know it's pre-definitely maybe, and I would've included others, but this one is just so painful to the ears, I can't not include it)

They got there first. Possibly sadder. Well if Kelly Jones ripped it off of Abba, which means they both technically ripped it off of Abba, than Jones wrote a much better song with it than Noel did. How is that 'sadder' if they both use the same riff ?? lol. THT is such an overrated song and like I said, 'contrived'. EDIT: I just listened to the Abba song and I wouldn't really call that a 'rip'. The only thing that's somewhat similar is the first two notes. Kelly Jones definitely turned it into his own thing. Noel totally ripped off Jones' riff and made a crappy song with it. I'm sorry if you like that mediocre song and I upset you. But it's not a good song. And it doesn't deserve the praise that it gets.

1. Mucky Fingers 2. Can Y'see It Now? (I Can See It Now!) 3. The Swamp Song 4. All Around the World (Reprise) 5. Street Fightin' Man (the original is good though.)
Why is everybody including Little by Little? That's a %#@$ing great song.

1. All Around the World (reprise) 2. PYMWYMI (the music itself isn't horrible but the words are as bad as it gets) 3. Mucky Fingers - gives me a headache every single time 4. I Hope, I Think, I Know - the only song off BHN that sounds contrived to me 5. Force of Nature - I literally hate everything about this song...from the drum loop to words

1. She is love - awful song, awful lyrics. This shouldn't have even been on HC, let alone a single. 2. PYMWYMI - terrible 3. Little James - This and PYMWYMI really drag down SOTSOG, would have been a good album if these two had been replaced. 4. Mucky Fingers - Really boring track, lyrics aren't bad though. Pass Me Down The Wine/STC should've been on DBTT instead of this. 5. The Quiet Ones - Not even good enough to be a b-side. Supposedly there were 50 tracks left over from the DBTT sessions and we get this shit.
