While I'm almost certain it's fake: new user, with 2 posts, has a "friend" who is connected, and produces 2 very poor and short quality demo versions.....very suspect BUT, if on the off chance it is true, I can't say I'm disappointed. The first demo reminds me of I Can See It Now, which I rather like And as suggested on here, the second one could very well be Boy With The Blues - either way, it sounds good too Only time will tell, but my guess is this is another fake. It was posted by a long time user on The Soapbox! And they are confrimed fake. The third "demo" he uploaded was the first one reversed!

On reading everyone else's interpretations, I'm not even going to waste a few mbs of my hard drive space on this even temporarily, even if it is real, which it isn't. How can you enjoy a muffled, distorted, low quality snippet of "music" with incoherent voices, even if it is by the band? I'd rather stick out the wait than be disappointed by a horrible version of what will be in the studio version, a great song. Yeah, and the fact that someone with little to no posts who maintains a contact in LA working at the studio isn't suspicious at all. Jeez, Noel seemed to pick a recording studio a lot of Oasis fans, or relations to Oasis fans work at...

Doesn't make it less fake though.

Mate, it's not about enjoying the 20seconds of muffled sound, but rather enjoying the excitement. Thinking WHAT IF this is true? Imagining how much better/worse it would be if it wasn't muffled. Imagining what the rest of the song might sound like. Ok, most are fake, and you waste 5mins of your life, big deal. What's sad is that there are people intentionally creating things like this with their spare time - now that's the real waste.

I'm just eager for something real, something crystal, but since I've never been through all of the pre-album hype before I had no idea it would drag on so long without concrete news. Just before I signed up, when most of the fake reviews were posted a few months back, I initially thought some were true, and I got really excited, but since then those have proved to be lies, we've had a hoard more, the Stop the Clocks and Frank fiasco, and a lot more new album false twists and turns, I'm just trying to maintain my own excitement, and its fake news that is killing it. Well if this is true, I apologise for my strong comments, now a snippet of quality true Oasis recording would really stir up a buzz, but I guess this is all we've got to cling onto for another few days.

I don't buy it, they sound too shitty, the songs I mean to be Oasis, furthermore the parts with vocals don't sound like The gallaghers so my guess is it's bullshit. If I'm wrong than Oasis may have finally lost it.

I think there is a good chance one or both of these are real, and I;m not saying that as some excited fanboy. If you listen to both tunes, you'll notice the presence of those sweeping, high pitched melodies only Oasis are capable of. Now, yes, they can be recreated, but those demos are pretty damn good. I have listened to them a a number of times, and if that isnt Oasis then I'd sure love to find out who it is, because clearly, they've developed a very similar song structure. I'm willing to bet these demos are snippets of new tunes, ones which I'm pretty sure are going to collectively add up to make the album SOTSOG should have been - funky, psychedelic, amazing. Enough with the cynicism, people. Only a few months left!

Ha ha ha, you said it, man! Every post that start with "A friend of mine who works in a studio..." and along the lines of that, is usually just fake shit. Especially if it comes from users with one or two posts.

if its isn't oasis then who is it? I'd like to know I thought they both sounded quite good.
even from listening to the poor sound quality of the sound files you can tell that these songs have been proffessionally recorded in a studio. so if the general opinion is that its not oasis, then who is it?

This is 100% Oasis. And the first demo sounds amazing. I already love this track.

there's no way I could completely write off either as being "impossible" as some here have suggested. Of course my intuition tells me otherwise, but both sound completely plausible
It's all in good fun, and we'll see soon enough. Seems lto me, ike a lot of "work" for someone to compile some shit like this and post it, just to raise a few eyebrows.

I really dont see how there can be any doubt that this is Oasis, it clearly is!
You can tell that the end of the voice you hear right at the start is clearly Liam and the music is exactly how Noel has been describing the new sound lately.
I dont know how this user got them but mark my words, they are real!
I did the Shazam mobile phone song recognizer thing on them and they had no match for them. They hold over 7 million songs on their databases!

Umm, Regardless of whether they are real or not, I would say that these are not the actual recordings, they have obviously had the quality reduced when they were recorded as MP3s by whoever got hold of them.
