How cool would it be if Liam took over rhythm guitar for like one song per concert this tour? Say on like Wonderwall, what if Gem moved to keyboards, Noel to lead, and let Liam just play the main riff (it's certainly easy enough for him). Unless Liam's afraid to play the guitar in front of that many people?
Thoughts?

Althought he's a pretty good guitar player, I think 3 guitar players is too much in a band. Then again, The Coral do fine...

It'd be interesting, but he'd never agree to it. Can just imagine him:
"I'm a singer not a guitar player" etc.

I always thought Liam looked a bit awkward with a guitar, but that could be because we're so used him NOT having one.... the Go Let it Out video is a bit of giggle lol "one cord Gallagher"...the songbird video he looked a bit more natural. I think he would have a bit of a hard time singing on stage, his stance would be all off.

To not see the same exact show we've seen for the past 13 years and mix things up a bit

Why not - I think it would be great. He'd get more respect if he could pull it off.

He'd get more respect if he could pull it off. Or it might be seen as damage control for his voice not being what it used to be.

I'd like to see that. But even on CD:UK in 2002 or 2003, he sang Songbird sitting on a chair flanked by Gem on acoustic and all he did was clap his hands. He could have sat there on acoustic, and on one of his own songs which you would expect him to pull off.
I just don't think he's up for that (playing any guitar) on stage.

Or even better him play on a Noel sung song?
I can keep dreaming.

That's a very fair point and you're prob right. I mean we've seen just from behind the scenes footage, he is a competent guitarist (especially in Oasis standards) but the fact he's refused to play the guitar in front of an audience prob means he can't do that and sing very well. But like someone else said, we can still dream

Hey Curlies, where did that thread go with the sound clips? Could it have been deleted cause it is in fact the new songs and we aren't supposed to hear them?

I really don't know... Maybe in the BS section. Or like the other time (my tracklisting, the real one), deleted coz it's a real new song... EDIT : In the BS section Why not Webby, any confirmation about these fakes ?
