I'm not familiar with this term, so I looked it up on urban dictionary: www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bag+it+upSo what's most likely to be the subject of the song, going by how this term is used? I'm sure it's not telling us to use condoms. Definition 2 doesn't sound right. Definition 3 would be the most likely, I guess, but it's got 8 thumbs down. Guess I'm asking because a song about sex sounds like an odd choice to open a psychedelic album. It sounds like the name of a pop song. If it's an inviting, suck-you-in kind of song why would he use a popular cliche instead of something more ominous and dark like the other titles? |

Although I suppose, in context, it could really be about anything.

Bag it up could have a reference to booze. Could it be similar to Bottle it up? I think it would be "Get your shit together" though. It makes the most sense to me.

In england, if you're say in a restaurant and haven't finished your meal, then you can say "bag it up" ... meaning put it in a bag so you can take it home. it's definitely not about sex ... sounds more like an american expression.

Let's be honest, a very large proportion of Oasis song titles mean fuck all but Noel thought they sounded cool and/or mysterious so used them. Slice of Magic Pie, anyone?
Speaking as an Englishman, I've only ever heard the phrase used with reference to condoms, or perhaps the shopping in the supermarket. Finishing things up, buying drugs etc - methinks not.
