all i know is that i don't want 'my generation' anymore They should really work on a different cover... Neil Young, or the stones, or the jam

they should really cover the Smiths. except Noel would have to sing, Liam would be so ridiculously wrong for any Smiths tunes.

Oasis wouldn't be able to fill a single stadium in the US if they stopped playing Wonderwall Not true. The Americans that fill the venues do so because they really like Oasis, casual listeners don't attend gigs often! I like the odd songs from Modest Mouse, but I wouldn't go see them live.... That's good to know. I thought all Oasis fans in the US were only Wonderwall listeners, like all Blur 'fans' are probably only Song 2 listeners

I wouldn't really count FITB as an opener, to me that's an Intro. The opener is the first live song played by the band, and I'd think there's a good possibility of Bag It Up.
I've always thought Columbia is the perfect opener.

It's Gettin' Better (Man!!). I would go fucking mental if they played that. In a good way. I'm with you there- i don't see why it isn't considered a classic. I get the same feeling from that song as i get from songs like supersonic same here. i'm with you guys on this one

I just listened to Snakebite for the first time in a while, and I think it would be absolutely amazing to play it as opening for the next tour instead of FitB

No Wonderwall? Are you insane? I think he's right, Wonderwall more often than not sounds shit nowadays. Wonderwall went shit the second they started playing it with electric guitars. I don't care that Noel and Gem say "it doesn't matter" - IT FUCKING DOES. Beats all the heart and soul out of the tune. Would they have used electrics to play Songbird on the last tour? No.

They should start with "hello" Like they did during the tour of brotherly love Multi-posting is one thing, multi-posting with the wrong information is just funny But they opened with FiTB/Go Let It Out on the Brotherly Love tour, just like on every show from 2000-2001. FiTB/Hello was the Heathen Chemistry tour opener, and speaking purely from a setlist perspective, that may have been the best tour they've done.
