August 15th on 102.1 Th Edge I believe, my friend. Yup, supposedly August 15, so still another 4 weeks as of today. You might see the single sneak out before it rotates on airplay though. I think that's possible that the single will leak. |

As it happens it's pretty close to what will be the first radio play - edge 102's 15th August is the earliest confirmed date I've seen. |

Don't know if they guard things so tightly nowadays (the albums certainly are, don't know about the singles), but I don't think it'll be openly kicking round radio stations two weeks before the embargo is lifted. Hope I'm wrong though, cos I'm dying to hear it. Of course, the first place we heard Lyla was on a radio station (with the authorisation of Sony Poland). |

what usually comes 1st radio play or promo video? or at the same time. all i know is shadow puppets 1st single was played on radio then minutes later the video was online.

Usually the song will be on the radio for a week or two then the video will debut on Channel 4 (most likely). I've seen a few high profile video debuts on Channel 4 at 11.55pm (Eminem, etc) |

It does happen via promo discs, but its not commonplace. A far more likely scenario is some random radio station playing it before a set date like what happened with Lyla, but there are people with connections so it could leak, but I wouldnt bet on it. At the very least we have a set date that it will be no later then. |
