So you do have info, but you've promised the riddler that you'll keep your mouth shut? Very honorable indeed. By the way, should also thank you again for sharing the early leaks from DBTT a few years back. Very much appreciated!!! I'm not sure if xtrmntrscream leaked Don't Believe The Truth or the 5-track promo that leaked a little while prior to the full leak. But either way, yeah.

I believe it was the five track promo - you're right.
This guy's the real deal - we need to listen to him. Plus, he doesn't post in Latin.

Plus, he doesn't post in Latin. lol yeah, the latin's not easy to interpret when you're a complete stranger to the language as I am! I regard xtrmntrscream as reputable, although in this case all he is stating is that he know's the identity of theriddler, he's not claiming to have anything himself. With that in mind hopefully the dim-witted members of the forum (of which there are very few and usually newbies) don't harass him with BS as happened with DBTT. It just makes people less co-operative.

rolli's a chump like the rest of us, he may have the leaked album 5 minutes before the rest of us. maybe 2 minutes. I honestly don't have a lot of faith in the riddler... there's only a handful of people on oasis forums that are truly connected and know anything, and as things go I'd place stronger bets on them not knowing anything than them actually knowing things and purposely giving us small bits of info every few days

ok. well the verve are doing a pre-order thing for a big special edition box for thier album, cost 40 quid and you can pre order it now. noel said there would be a special edition of DOYS. i would guess that soon we can pre-order a special edition and when we do we get a free download on the 1st of the month.

Permaneo Carmen Sanus Amo = "I love the last song"
Sumo Is , Pango , tribuo is ut caput = No idea, something about pledging, giving, or buying when something is the leader or on top.
Maybe saying that the last song will be a top single? (Soldier On?)

apparently in latin the last word is the verb, so yeah, I'm pretty sure that the title is "Love how the last song sounds"
and my interpretation of the last part, after reading some latin dictionaries and rules is:
Accept it, settle, allow it to the top...
I think it's a description of Soldier On, to hear and get involved in the song till it goes to the top...
the use of the commas in sumo is, pango could mean something else, if the comma wasn't there, sumo is pango could be "accept he composed it"

But it's also "I Love" because of the ending... Present tense: Amo - I love Amas -You Love Amat - He/She/It Loves Amamus - We Love Amatis - You Love Amant - They Love I'm glad 7 years of Latin finally paid off (6th grade - 12th) !

That kind of reminds me of "Won't Let you Down" with the handclaps and the cool melody.

That railroad worker's song is hilarious...Should be interesting to see how Liam turns that into Soldier On...not quite "hautingly beatiful" as the Riddler alluded to...
By the way, that "riddle" was quite obscure...lucky somebody actually got it...Actually, a little suspicious that fellow got the answer in such detail...hmmm, the Riddler revealed??

You really beleive turtle? That's sad. That's the worst possible thing I ever heard in my life. I was laughing because it was so bad. And it can't possibly be similar because that tune is in no way a heavy rock, grove based song. I hate when people believe everything they read instead of using their common sense.

Hard to know what to believe these days. Those songs were obviously very bluesy, that doesn't really go along with what we've been hearing.
